Guardian Down...
Woods surrounding the Dojo, early morning
through the forest a man freckled, clad in armour that looked like plate and robes from a far futures time. He was exhausted, starving and thirsty, walking for about a week and a half without finding anyone. A gun was on his hip and back, his helmet covering his face as a ghost, it's colour still freshly white, appearing next to him. He kept walking, beginning to pass out. Black encroached around his vision, his legs began to give out from under him, his body beginning to feel weak and tired.
After a bit, he saw something. Civilization. He smiled widely under his helmet. He attempted to make his way to the town, before his legs have out, the only thing he heard before his vision went black is his ghost shouting to anything and anyone who could hear him.
Ghost: "GUARDIAN DOWN!"
open, preferably to guardians

sure
Ah, okay. I was found just outside of Old Chicago. If you thought it was dangerous pre-golden age, imagine that plus lots and lots... and... lots... of fallen. *A man returned with a bucket of clean, clear water. Cyan smiled, thanked him, and walked over to the unconscious man with it. She stood over him, leaned down, and slowly poured some of it over him*
-
It was a bit before he woke up, he shot half up, coughing like mad. He opened his eyes, being jade green. He looked around for anything to drink
-
*the only thing that was around to drink was the water that was poured until it was only half full of water. Nevertheless, she still gav3 it to him, the bucket being kind of heavy* Cyan: Hey, kid. How are you?
-
He drank a good bit of it, before moving it from his face and taking a few breaths before he spoke. "I have no clue where I am, I've been told I've just come back from the dead, and that I'm supposed to be a guardian. I'm peachy." He says sarcastically, watering a moment before speaking again, this time honesty in his voice "Thanks for helping me."
-
Styx: Not a problem. Least hou were brought back from the dead
-
"Wait your telling me that's real and this thing isn't just being a dick?!" He says, pointing at the ghost. Ghost: "I have not reasons to lie to you Guardian Reyes."
-
Styx: and this sure as hell ain't heaven, kiddo. You have been alive nine days, get it in your head. You're a guardian, Reyes. Be lucky you have that ghost, not everyone has one
-
"Sorry, just... a bit hard to believe. Not every day this happens to you now is it?" Ghost: "All guardians are brought back from the dead."
-
Well, almost all. I certainly was, but some people are alive when chosen. Hard to believe, right?
-
"I'm more surprised that they bring people BACK FROM THE DEAD."
-
That's old hat. The hive did it, the Taken did it, hell, even the Fallen did it at one point. Why can't we?
-
"Because everything on the laws of physics and science says that shit isn't possible?"
-
Cyan: Well, first, that's more biology, and second, Little Light here pisses on even the concept of physics. Depending on what you are, you can lift, glide or double jump, depending on what you are, you can summon a shield like Styx here or hammers, swords, staffs, guns, shocked daggers, whatever, without external sources other than your Light.
-
He just paused for a moment, not saying anything. "Alright, I'm convinced I'm bat shit insane, but I kinda like where this is going."
-
Trust me, most of us start out that way. You will like it more once you find out the perks... all the loot
-
"I'm just not sure what the hell I have to do as a guardian."
-
Easy. Find a threat, kill it, and don't die
-
"I feel like there's a lot more detail in there, and that it's a lot harder than it sounds?"
-
I mean, it really isn't. Well, in some cases, maybe, but mostly not really
-
"I'll pretend that made sense like I'm doing with everything else right now." He whispers to himself quietly. "So, how did you end up here?"
-
Well, that's where it gets hazy. You see, for the past year or so I've been ghostless, so fear of death was... reignited for lask of a better term. I guess I just ran from the bad guys until I stopped here. Cyan: As for me, I lugged all of these people around us here because this is a world of warriors, the best place to train.
-
"Well, guess if I have a job to do I better get training."
-
Guess so
-
A Warlock stood over him. She smiled under her Eon Tracer Hood.
-
The man was clearly passed out, his ghost seeing the guardian approach clearly made it relived. "Good to see we aren't the only ones out here." It said, a feminine voice
