Heavy footsteps were drug through the showering rain, a faint glimmer of shining black metal brief for a moment- As Caye's combatant appeared about ten feet away from her, she could make out their appearance: the opponent was much taller than Caye, dwarfing her five feet and ten inch height with a height of six feet and ten inches, least while the being was suited within her armor. Rainwater washed over the ceramite plating, links of alloyed steel chainmail underneath to defend the futuristic knight's body. The suit's armor was crafted in such a way to deflect melee weaponry, the joints covered by chainmail to remain flexible yet guarding, in some manner. A bright purple plume protruded from the helm, the helmet designed in the growling face of a ferocious lion, it's metal teeth barred in fury. Grasped within the woman's right hand was a four-foot long spear, the javelin clearly intended for sudden, quick stabs, the point flickering with brief, enchanted electricity. A round shield began to fold out and formulate around the lion knightess' left arm, as she twirled her spear and nodded towards Caye. Dragonslayer, Dragonknight. This would be interesting.

  • Oh, the famed Dragonslayer; Caye had heard much about Olivia, but the last thing she had expected was the 12 inch height difference. As Olivia approached, Caye lifted her face upwards towards her opponent's, before momentarily placing her greatsword on her back. Her right hand went to her left forearm, and tugged; she completely detached the armored sleeve that protected–or imprisoned–her left arm. Caye's arm was muscular, her skin complexion smooth, with a tone that was lighter than fair, but not pale. There was a sleeve underneath her armor, the sleeve of her undershirt; black and skintight, reaching to her elbow. However, this sleeve was promptly torn up when Caye's arm transformed. The transformation happened swiftly; her left arm was regular for a moment, the next, it was that of a dragon's; extremely muscular, with tough, bulletproof, metallic scales. The claws that replaced her fingernails were about four inches long, and as sharp as razors. Caye curled her dragon hand into a fist, before easily lifting her greatsword with it. Meanwhile, the Dragonknight's right hand suddenly became charged with electricity. The right hand passed over the long blade of the greatsword, and the electricity traveled over to the weapon's blade, surrounding it with lightning. She transferred the grip of the blade to her right hand instead of her left, twirling it around with ease in a single hand. She then lifted the blade, holding it in front of herself with the tip of the greatsword pointing upwards diagonally, above Olivia. Caye slowly approached the Dragonslayer, careful to stay out of the spear's range, but just close enough to begin circling Olivia. As she did this, she changed her sword stance, lifting the greatsword into the hanging right position; with the grip over her right shoulder, and blade pointing towards Olivia's torso, angled downwards diagonally.

  • The transformation did power Olivia, quite a lot. Both the electrified greatsword and the dragon-like arm were an issue: while she did have something of a natural resistance to electricity thanks to her father's genetics, even to the point of absorbing it, the bladed weapon could easily cut her in two if she didn't react properly, especially as her foe could swing it with one hand. Additionally, she knew nothing of the left arm's strength, though it could likely easily break her spear into two. She would have to take the offensive and try to bait Caye out before that happened. The knightess' spear flickered before bursting with vibrant energy, raw electricity coursing powerfully throughout the tip of the spear and it's metallic body. Olivia immediately began something of a charge, raising up her rounded shield in defense while keeping her spear at wast level, though the tip was aimed up so that she could quickly jab and slash. She approached Caye at a heightened pace, hoping to see her dodge or move in head on.

  • As Olivia closed in on Caye, the Dragonknight waited. Once Olivia had closed the majority of the gap between them, Caye stepped forward with her right foot, pulling her dragon arm in towards her chest, before making a wide, horizontal blow with the arm, the scaly knuckles striking the spear's blade and bashing it to the side–a parry. Caye then raised her greatsword up, before bringing it downwards in a vertical strike, aiming for the gap between Olivia's pauldron and her helmet.

Olivia didn't have much of a choice now - her shield still raised, she immediately plunged forwards with the round shield raised, practically slamming into Caye's head, or at least her helmet. The weapon's blade would hang over Olivia's body, though the hilt crashing down didn't help: it crashed into the shoulder, a groan escaping Olivia's helm as ceramite began to crack, her left shoulder throbbing with pain. With her assault, Caye would be pushed back, her massive blade slicing against the dented metal as Olivia attempted to shrug it off. Backing off, she shrugged off the blunt damage and resumed position - she was right: Caye would parry and play counter, it seemed. As such, she held her spear behind her shield, beginning a circle again.

  • The shield bash had indeed knocked Caye back, causing her to stagger back a couple steps. As Olivia backed off and went back to circling, Caye made a split second decision; fight honorably, or fight dirty. She chose the latter. The Dragonknight took two, aggressive steps forward, with her left hand traveling down to her hip while her right held her greatsword around herself in the woman's guard stance; a frankly quite telegraphed stance that readied for a wide, horizontal sweep from left to right. Once Caye was within range she began the swing, however that was when her left hand darted down to her left side to grab onto the handle of her scimitar, turning it so its pommel was pointing at a knee joint in the Dragonslayer's leggings. Meanwhile, Caye aimed the pommel of her greatsword mid-swing as well, pointing the pommel at the joint which connected Olivia's shield arm to her torso. Caye then simultaneously pulled the triggers located on both the grips of her scimitar and greatsword, firing two bullets at Olivia. The first bullet, from the scimitar, one of .44 caliber. The second bullet, from her greatsword, was one of .50 BMG caliber. But that's not all! In addition to the two bullets, there was still the massive swing to account for; the blade was aimed towards the right side of Olivia's helmet.

  • If honor was out the window.. well, Olivia's mercy was probably out the window too. While her ceramite armoring managed to somewhat block the .50 cal round, the plate cracked and looked as if it would shatter if hit again. Olivia's knee on the other hand immediately dropped, a barred grunt of pain that rivaled Stannis Baratheon's teeth gritting emitting from Olivia's helmet. Her kneecap was pretty fuсked up, now, to say the least. Though Olivia figured that she could evade Caye's slash entirely, as the blade cleaved off her purple plume. Roaring with newfound energy, Olivia's round shield was encased in electricity, before she swung it up Captain America style, the rim aimed towards Caye's chin. With her entire left arm busting with electricity.. this would be something. (4750 MP)

  • Caye had read Olivia's arm movement, seeing the arm moving upwards, and as such suddenly dropped and leaned herself backwards, allowing the shield to pass her face and go over her head while Caye dropped beneath Olivia's arm. From the lowered position, Caye kicked off the ground to ram herself into Olivia's torso, forcing her back while also giving herself time to reload her greatsword's gun, ascertaining that the next .50 BMG was inside the grip and ready to be fired.

  • The best that the Dragonslayer could inflict would be a sudden jab into Caye's belly portion: as well, the pic just has.. nothing there, really. The electricity swarmed back into whatever catalyst it used within the spear, rendering the tip regular yet vicious. Olivia skidded back, twirling her spear as she began to walk around Caye. She began walking on her shot leg, murmuring in agony, yet adrenaline keeping her standing.

  • The tip of the spear struck the armor, denting it slightly and pushing Caye back a step or two. As the Dragonslayer went back to circling, Caye closing the gap between them once more, raising her greatsword above her head for a vertical strike. As she swung, she waited till her sword was in the correct position, until she pulled the trigger on the grip. Another .50 BMG was fired from the sword, this one aimed at the same knee that Caye had fired at before. Meanwhile, the blade itself was aimed to strike the cracked armor on Olivia's shoulder. Caye hoped to both immobilize the Dragonslayer and break through her armor.

  • Olivia understood the methods of Caye's gunblades after the first encounter with them, so she planned ahead as Caye raised her greatsword: she jolted forwards when the greatsword was raised, the bullet not hitting her knee as she moved, but instead her pauldron, denting more of the armoring. And with her in closer range.. Olivia didn't hesitate, holding Caye's right arm up with her left hand, her strength enhanced by her exosuit, her hand beginning to slowly twist Caye's by the wrist so that she would let go. She began to ram her armored knee into Caye's stomach repeatedly, grunting with each pummel as she held her spear behind her in waiting.

  • The thing was... Caye's armor was an exosuit as well, and that combined with her already above average innate strength would make it so that her right arm refused to budge. As Olivia began slamming her knee into Caye's armored stomach, the armor would continue to become more and more dented, however the Dragonknight reacted quickly. The first thing she did was raise her non-dominant leg and aim a powerful, exosuit-enhanced kick at Olivia's wounded knee. Simultaneously, she curled her dragon hand into a fist and aimed an... extremely powerful punch at the cracked spot in the Dragonslayer's armor. The kick and punch would connect at the same time, if they connected, however being in extremely close proximity and aided by the fact that Olivia was gripping Caye's right arm would make it rather... difficult to dodge, to say the least.

  • Olivia's initial reaction to the kick was to literally meet Caye's knee with her own leg, as she raised her shin: the knee would bounce from the armored ceramite, denting it. Meanwhile, a portion of Olivia's ceramite exploded, a wave of bright energy suddenly burning Caye's dragon claw as the armor piece broke. Ramming her knee into Caye's stomach once more, Olivia allowed the woman's right hand to fall, more or less throwing it to the side before her left hand, covered by her shield, rammed into Caye's already busted helmet. Energy surged into the shield before both flew back, Olivia literally sliding back and groaning as she skidded across the dirt. ((3850 MP))

  • A moderately sized crack would appear in the helmet that Olivia smashed twice, causing Caye to stagger back with a grunt. She lifted her left arm, examining the ever so slightly burnt claw–however, Caye's dragon arm was extraordinarily resilient, and that included her claws. The Dragonknight decided that it was time for a change of pace; she returned her greatsword to her back, all the while back stepping and being ready to dodge should Olivia attack her while she was temporarily unarmed. Meanwhile, her right hand traveled to her back to grip the thick handle of her spear, which she drew and swung around in her right hand, before her left hand grabbed the pole of the blade so her right hand could ignite in flames. The ignited hand passed over the spear's blade quickly, buffing the blade with flames, before Caye returned the pole of her right hand, lowering herself into a readied stance. While she was doing this, she was of course, paying attention to her opponent, preparing to cancel anything she was doing to dodge Olivia's attacks while she switched weapons.

  • Olivia figured that the spear would have some sort of gun function within it as an additional mechanism, though underneath her lion helmet, she grinned: she just needed to get close, and this fight was in the bag for her. For starters - Olivia decided to go full Captain America, as she threw her spear to the side. The weapon flew like a miniature javelin until it's head slammed into the dirt, the force making it shake before it stopped. Still gripping her shield, the knightess held it outwards as she made her charge, peeking over the round shield.

  • Caye raised her spear to her shoulder, continuously sprinting backwards. She had the speed advantage, due to Olivia having a -blam!-ed up knee. The spearhead transformed into a gun barrel, and a trigger was pulled. Caye was sent flying back by the recoil, as the massive 30x173mm tank shell flew from the spearhead to Olivia. There was no blocking this shit, cuz dis bullet massive asf. Meanwhile, Caye literally struck the dojo wall, having been flung so far back by the recoil of the spear. The impact rattled her and caused some cracks to appear in the wall.

  • Olivia could already prepare herself as she witnessed the gun barrel transform, knowing that a bullet would fly from it's depths. Nothing could prepare her for the impact, though. As the bullet flew from the cannon of a spear, Olivia's eyes widened as Caye was sent flying into the wall, before the round slammed into her shield. Guessing correctly that Caye had a gun attachment to her spear, the shield's energy activated: yet, that didn't save Olivia entirely. ((2155 MP)) While the force of the round was halted, it did enough to the Dragonslayer to make her yell in a sudden flash of agony. As the bullet shattered against the field of energy, the remainder of it's force rattled up Olivia's left arm, shattering almost each and every bone as the armor plate was torn from the exosuit. Olivia gagged in pain, bringing her arm close to her chest in a near cast-like position. Oddly enough, Olivia wasn't particularly furious about the usage of such a high-caliber weapon, though whatever anger she had was drown out by the intense pain. She thought that she had torn several muscles as well: it was miraculous that the entire arm wasn't torn off. So close to deja vu.

  • Caye slowly rose from her collapsed position against the wall, her armor having protected her from incapacitation. She once again lifted her greatsword, slowly stumbling her way over to Olivia's fallen body. After arriving, her visor scanned the Dragonslayer's vitals; and of course would see the absolutely shattered arm. There was no way that was going to be repaired. And so, Caye raised her greatsword, and brought the tip down into Olivia's shoulder, severing her left arm completely and causing blood to rapidly flow from her torso to the courtyard ground. The Dragonknighy quickly set aside her greatsword and allowed her right hand to ignite in flame, the device at the bottom of her wrist doing its job. She placed the flame by the wound, slowly and agonizingly cauterizing it. It... probably burned and hurt a helluva ton, and there was no pain numbing, however Caye used her dragon arm to hold the weakened Olivia in place while the wound was cauterized.

  • If anything, Olivia expected to be decapitated. Pls no. But she didn't expect the full-on removal and cauterization of her left arm. As the greatsword slid through the chink in the armor and flesh, cleaving through the shattered bone of which held the arm to the remainder of Olivia's skeleton, of which was fine, other than the destroyed kneecap. As the arm fell to the side, Olivia felt.. woozy, before looking over as the pain began to settle. Her breathing began fast-paced and rugged, a scream working up within her throat yet refusing to leave, until the flame appeared within Caye's empty palm. Olivia began to scream then. Her yells of absolute agony escaped the bars of her teeth and the muffling of her helmet, her body shaking abruptly even as her remaining arm gripped Caye's dragon-like arm. With the flesh being burnt, her tight grip merely only tightened, the yells of pain increasing in capacity. As the cauterization ended, Olivia stopped her thrashing, yet the pain was still there, no doubt. She attempted to get up, even when holding Caye's hand: that failed, thanks to her kneecap. At that rate, she decided to.. make things easier for Caye, murmuring the code "0005". The suit folded open, allowing Olivia to slide out and groan in pain, pushing the suit off of her sitting body. "...Cripple, then.." Olivia let out a sigh, her hand still clasped around Caye's dragon forearm. Olivia was., surprisingly normal outside of the armor, least when she wasn't judged by height. She was tall, at most 6'5", whilst her body maintained a curvaceous appearance, muscle running through her bodily appearance. A skintight body suit, deep blue in color, embraced her muscular appearance while black linings of carbon fiber served as ballistic weave throughout the article of clothing, as a lightweight armor, primarily against small melee weaponry. Tangles of red hair would cover parts of Olivia's face, blue eyes shining through the strands of hair. "-I can't complain. Thanks for.. helping." She murmured, still trying to bring herself up. Though, even for a bullshit sci-fi knight that was trained and built for combat, that was near impossible.

  • "Mhm." Caye had remain utterly silent during the cauterization process, focusing entirely on the task at hand; burning the wound and holding Olivia in place. After it had ended and Olivia had stopped struggling, Caye's dragon arm reverted to its original state; a normal, human arm, albeit a rather muscular one. Caye proceeded to pull with her left arm, helping Olivia to her feet and stepped back a couple of steps, retrieving and stowing her weaponry. She turned to grab the arm she had detached from her armor, reattaching it to her chestpiece. Meanwhile, her right hand went up to her dented helmet, removing it to reveal the Dragonknight's face. The first thing Olivia would notice were the small, straight, four inch horns that extended from the back of Caye's head. The next was that the horns extended from a head of short, shaggy, silvery-white hair, which ended at a little above the woman's jaw. As Caye turned her body to face Olivia, she'd show her angular, yet surprisingly cute features; a fair skin tone, round face shape, and thin lips. Her eyes were surprisingly animalistic, and they seemed to glow a bright, icy blue. She held her dented helmet under her right arm, watching Olivia and awaiting her reaction; the fight hadn't necessarily ended, and anything could happen... especially as Olivia saw Caye's horns. And as such, Caye's right hand rested on the grip of her scimitar, casually reloading it. She'd only attack if Olivia attacked, however.

  • Olivia was quite the silent individual, at the very least. It was clear that she was in deep thought of her next approach: she had made a vow to her father. She could remember it. And she couldn't break that promise. Not yet, anyhow. Kneeling down to the severed arm that once belonged to her own being, Olivia removed the glove portion before allowing the remainder of the forearm and shoulder to encase her right arm. She prepared the shield arm.. before beckoning Caye forwards.

  • Caye drew her scimitar with a silent sigh, in awe that Olivia still wished to fight... part of her just wanted to give the Dragonslayer the win, so she would no longer be forced to endure such pain. It was something Caye wouldn't wish on anybody. But that would be disrespecting Olivia, and so Caye raised her scimitar in hanging right stance, before closing the distance between herself and Olivia. She circled to the Dragonslayer's left, her own right, waiting to lash out with her blade.

  • Olivia bowed her head before initiating her combative stance, while still gritting her teeth through the throbbing pain. It hurt like hell - she felt as if she would vomit from the agonizing flares in the stump of her left arm, the smell of burnt flesh in the air. The rainwater didn't help, washing over the stump and seeping into the cauterized wound. But she'd get through, nonetheless - through victory or defeat, as likely as the latter was. She began with a few steady steps. Olivia still had her shield for inflicting damage and deflecting Caye's sword, but nothing more. With her right kneecap practically shattered, she couldn't walk, much less run, though she approached Caye ever so quietly.

  • Caye eventually arrived close enough to Olivia where she would aim a horizontal slash at Olivia with her scimitar, slashing from her own right; Olivia's left. The blade was raised upwards, aimed above the cauterized wound and at Olivia's neck. Meanwhile, Caye extended her left arm to attempt to grab Olivia's shield to stop her from blocking the slash. • Olivia was already swinging her round shield in retaliation, throwing her body around the shield's protection. Her original intent was to deflect Caye's blade and then bash her head in (though not in a killing manner.. Olivia doesn't want to kill her). The first did work - the blade was knocked back from the edge of the shield, though no doubt that Caye would assault again and take advantage of Olivia's trapped state. In an effort to get Caye off, Olivia grunted as she reared back her right arm, the shield still being gripped, promptly pulling Caye with her. She then brought the shield back towards Caye's chin, the flat portion to be exact: the rim would possibly kill Caye, and Olivia thought that it was enough to both smack her with a heavy shield and her own hand, if Caye was still holding on. Describing a move of which you're bashing someone's head in, and attempting to write it peacefully because Olivia is surprisingly nice, is difficult. She's like Jaime Lannister. Without inсest. I swear that Nathanial and Olivia have nothing between themselves. I think.

  • Caye was indeed still holding on, however she had shifted her hand so that her palm was on the flat portion of the shield, and pushing back, stopping the shield in its tracks before it could hit her. Using Olivia's force to her advantage, Caye quickly lashed out with her left leg, kicking Olivia's wounded knee with a great amount of speed, boosted by her exosuit. As she did this, she aimed a other horizontal slash with her scimitar, more or less at the same location.
