[i]"Different Timelines, New Faces"
(Earth, Year 72396, Septimus Timeline) [/i]
The sound of gunfire echoed into the background.
A room, barely lightened, was seen, soldiers rushing in. Multiple scars, dents and slashes were seen across their armor, most likely a sign of war. In the middle, a tear was seen, yellow lighting itself upon the tear.
"Where's ELARA?!" Someone, most likely male had yelled.
"At Location, Maroon." [url=https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/8d/0b/5f/8d0b5f589bce7e020de0b7921d7e1d85--character-art-character-design.jpg]A female robot[/url] had replied, walking out from nearby.
"Listen; we need you to get in here; humanity is gonna die, and the doctor said..." Maroon began to say, before someone to his left interrupted him.
"Man; you just gonna throw your stupid girlfriend through a damn unknown Onion Rift? Whatever the doc said before the Vorshins got to her on Mars..." he says, most likely a black guy based on the voice.
"What about your status, Maroon? You found me...you showed me that humanity...." ELARA began to say before someone else interrupted them.
It was a woman, weapon at a barricaded door, that was heavily being hit upon.
"Sir; they're almost through!" She yells, scared for her life.
Maroon looked to ELARA, leaning in for a kiss to the cheek. "Thank you...thank you for everything." He says, the black man from before grabbing a massive futuristic LMG.
The door bursted open, mechs similiar to ELARA (only growing with red eyes) opened fire on the humans.
"Just go!" Marron had yelled, pushing ELARA into the rift.
The last thing the mech would've seen would be Maroon being stabbed through his heart, one of her own kind being the culprit.

A feminine- like mech would've been seen, face-first on the floor of the center of town. She seemed mechanical...and in need of repair.
Or was she?

A surreal figure looked down at the mech, surrounded with a purple haze, almost looking like an illusion given the way the haze swirled and drifted, with the slightest hint of purpose so subtle as to almost drive one insane attempting to decipher it. The figure was lean, slender and was utterly pitch black, black as the uncareing void of space save for two burning magenta ovoids that served as eyes. It's head was cocked to the side slightly; it had not seen an entrance such as this before. A jet black hand, streaming purple haze, gently shook the mech, attempting to understand whether the prone figure was functional or not.

[i]Rebooting core systems... 100% completion Updated perimeters; investigate unknown location of arrival; unless otherwise permitted, all forces are considered docile.[/i] This went through ELARA's HUD, before she made her way up, and looked at the unknown figure. [i]Target does not seem to have human features. Possibility of world with humans. Most likely will have to test human language on unknown figure.[/i] "Hello." She simply had responded.

[i]Updating memory drives... ERROR: CORRUPTED FILES ARRIVED; WILL PIECE TOGETHER UNCORRUPTED FILES.[/i] "I am an Ergonomic Lazarus Armada Robotic Automaton 3.0. However, most known organics, specifically that of humans call me ELARA, for short." The female robot replied, looking at the figure that just so happened to be talking to her. [i]Identified: Non-human. Does not exhibit many Vorshin activity. Will have to keep watch.[/i] "You...are not human. Who are you?" She asks.

"I do not have a name. Speaking in the 2nd person will suffice." The thing's voice was disconcerting, almost disturbing. It sounded like thousands of gusts for wind, coeleced together to create a strange, whispering sound that was too alien to be relaxing, but too human to ignore. It seemed mildly surprised that the mech was so interested in the world around it, when it seemed so damaged itself.

[i]Updating species list... Unknown; placed reminder to study unknown being further.[/i] "Acknowledged." She responded before looking around her. [i]Chemical substance considered similiar to Earth chemicals...but not in exact numbers. This is not Earth.[/i] "Where am I? This does not look like Earth, or any other recognized human-controlled world."

"Hm..." she responded, looking around. [i]Tatakai. Based on atmosphere, most likely was human-controlled world in original timeline.[/i] "Are you the only species of life known in this planet? Was there an existence to humanity?" She asked.

"I am no species of life, but to answer your question, there is human life on this planet. Possibly even some from your universe."

"Hm..." ELARA responds, almost a bit...unsettling to her. "Humans could possibly be Vorshins...wait, impossible, I was the only one to cross unstable rifts...unless otherwise." "Thank you. Are the humans capable of using guns?" She asks the figure.

The thing nodded. "There are humans of most time periods here."

The AI nodded. "Perhaps I should call you by a 'name', as humans define it? I must need to remember people, even if not of human or Vorshin by different names."

"Though I dislike being adressed by it directly, I have been known as Steve."

"Steve?" She asks. [i]Updating database: Name: Steve. Will keep in databanks for future encounters.[/i] "I am... I do not know where to look first. Should I buy shelter? I don't require food, or water...or should I begin finding means of currency. I am, as humans had said it...'confused.'" She says.

She nods. "Of course. Any places where I could find some?" She looked around for any place. "Or maybe I can just...'take' a place for myself." That second option had a different meaning behind it...and it might not be the best.

The figure emitted a strange hissing noise. After a second it became evident he was laughing. "I would not advise that."

"So...peaceful solution can be achieved?" She asks, just to make sure that she wasn't allowed to kill someone for their home.

"Yes."

She nods, seemingly understanding such answer. "Thank you 'Steve'. I shall go scour for a place of habitation. Should you need me, you know what I look like...do you need anything?" She asked.

With that, the purple haze that surrounded him spun into a small whirlwind and imploded into nothingness, him with it, with a loud popping noise.

Of course, this confused ELARA, to the point of staying there for a little longer. [i]Log 1002: Detected unknown entity, nicknamed 'Steve'. Possibilities of further alliance is...unknown. Despite this, friendly seems to be fine with a Vorshin in the area...which means the Initiative was never created. Also, transferred any Earth currency to my new account. Moved into small cubicle humans call 'apartments'. Will have to recharge and begin socializing with further subjects for research and possible learning of Tatakai culture. Log End.
