Do I Really Need A Title? // Dojo VR // JT "Seriously this is like the sixtieth time I've been in here, does anyone want to spar? I won't even be an ass about it this time, I can't get a damn good fight any other way." JT spoke with a chuckle to his words, as he unsheathed a gladius from his belt and threw it in the floor before him, tip-down. He had thoughts of boredom and hope for a fight racing through his mind, causing him to scan the desert coliseum he has conjured up in the virtual reality that he would do combat in. The Marshal produced a simple gauntlet from his jacket, which eventually morphed around his right arm and became a black armour of sorts. nanomachines were always a thing he could use to their fullest potential, and this old trick was no exception to him. Their would be an enemy coming any minute now, and he was waiting hopefully and somewhat expectantly. (open)

 • As if someone had heard him, a man entered the VR. He entered through what seemed to be the door of the other coliseum, across from the Marshal. A man clad in more modern looking armour, like ballistic gear and blue jeans. Two swords hung in his waist, though it seemed his weapon of choice was a spear and shield. The man's face was covered by a helmet, as he spoke. He had an accent, Spanish or Mexican. "Looks like I don't have to wait for a match." The man said, chuckling a bit. He spun the spear in one hand, cracking his neck left first, then right. He didn't seem familiar to JT.

 • JT just chuckled, and kept his hands at his side. He knew that the gap between him and the enemy would be enough to keep him alive for at least one cheeky attack, and so he just watched in silence, analyzing him. He analyzed the stance of his opponent, the way he acted and with what confidence he spoke. It painted him as brash, bold and cocky in the face of danger, which meant recklessness could follow in the form of a rushing attack with the spear. So JT stayed just a few steps out of the spearhead's lunging range, hand patiently waiting for the attack to come.

 • But an attack didn't. The man placed both hands on his spear, taking a stance as he slowly approached. Brash didn't see to be this man's game. Each step methodical, each movement seemed to be thought out. Looked like he was waiting for someone else to swing first

 • JT grinned, simply standing still. He had a plan in mind, and would avoid being the first to act if he could.

 • He stepped in, back leg crossing over his front one, as he trusted the spear forward. Everything was kept tight to his body, the openings to his him thanks to his armour few and small.

 • JT sidestepped the spear by moving to the right, and from there he raised that very same leg and sent his boot crashing into the neck of the spear, trying to knock his opponent off guard.

 • The man pulled the spear back just in time, stepping in and slashing at JT's arm with the blade of the spear. It's length gave the strikes a lot of leverage, and a lot of power,

 • Fulmen, in his dark gray armor and face paint, entered the coliseum, he had his lightning gauntlets on which had glowing orbs in them. "I'll give it a try, I haven't been in a fight for too long."

 • JT just stood there, a blank expression on his face as he waited.

 • "Alright then..." He jumped forward, sending a powerful punch to JT's gut with his left while guarding with his right.

 • As he jumped ahead, JT Stepped back to create some distance between the two. He drew his revolver in that time, aimed from his hip, and shot a trio of .44 bullets at the chest of his opponent.

 • At the speed Fulmen moved at, moving back only temporarily warded him off. The first bullet hit Fulmen, creating a large dent in his armor, but not slowing him down much. Fulmen put his heavily armored wrist guard in front of the next two bullets, blocking them completely. Fulmen kept up his momentum and grabbed JT's revolver, pulling it down while he punched again at JT's chest and gut.

 • Sadly for Fulmen, JT had an iron grip and muscles of steel that allowed his arm to stay halfway raised. The punches looked like they did nothing to him but make him lose some of the wind in his lungs due to exhaling. He raised his free hand and grasped Fulmen's neck, hard enough to not shatter bone but ensure he couldn't escape.
I don't advise fighting a character built for CQC over two and a half years in a fistfight, just saying.
•
Dont worry, mine is better than you think.
JT underestimated the strength and setup of Fulmen as he grabbed his neck. Fulmen didnt resist but sent his hand upward then descended back into a stun blow on JT's head with a shockwave following. JT was sent flying to the ground and was stunned from the blast.

 •
A: JT is just over 600 pounds. B: JT's been known to lift tanks. You can't just push the guy over, especially when he's restricting your air flow and all lmfao. please edit accordingly.
•
A: it's a shockwave that can knock over almost one ton of weight at that range B: Fulmen doesn't care that he can't breathe, the shockwave will happen anyway as it doesn't correlate with his strength Get over it
•
I am over it lol, I'm just using logic. And logically you move much slower and in a slight panic without air, as that's basic human nature. Are you trying to say Fulmen doesn't abide by the laws of nature?
•
He is panicked, but he isn't just going to sit there and do nothing, hitting was his reaction to it.
