An interesting observation about D2 Beta Reviews

So I've read all the reviews and opinions on the D2 Beta so far; I've spotted an interesting trend in the opinions from the ones that are saying it's great and are loving it. All of these Bungie defenders have sub 5000 Grimoire, No "From the beginning" node unlocked on Y3 MoT and have 1000 Hours or less gameplay time. You will say Grimoire doesn't mean shit, but it's an uncanny trend that I've spotted. Any D1 Alpha/Beta Vets with 5500+ Grimoire and 3000 Hours logged have anything good to say about this D2 Beta? I'm curious...

 • I back in the day played the alpha and beta on the xbox 360. i don't have a large card score because it generally never interested me to do any of the ghost hunting and all. i have around i thing 30 or so days in D1. I mainly think the beta is trash. I love that everyone is having to use their primaries now, but i feel like shotguns and snipers shouldn't of been destroyed. sniper should of stayed a special weapon/secondary weapon option rather than a heavy slot. You know. Where the big juicy hard hitting weapons go? my number 1 complaint though is the weapon balance. I hate being restricted to one weapon type, that being pulse rifles. I back in year 1 was a heavy hand cannon and pulse rifle user, in year 2 i loved auto rifles, in year 3 i loved scout rifles. The main thing i loved about D1 is the weapon variety of being able to switch shotty out for a trusty fusion, sniper out for shotty, etc etc. I tried to stick to my primary for most of the time but i some times switched to my sniper when i wanted to have fun. I don't have that leisure. You use a pulse and be able to stand a chance, or you use something else and get -blam!-ed. The story mission was a lot of fun but the ending was cheesy, i kept saying to myself during the cutscene "Yeah buddy i've killed literal gods. step in line, you're nothing." because the ending was cheesy but that's it imo super are a problem but in comp they're not, in a comp mode you should save your super. in casual you should just be able to do whatever and have a fun time. strikes aren't fun when everyones bullet sponges but i have no doubt they'll fix that.
