[i]Jäger, the seven-foot tall titan approached Mason, with one hand he pushed Mason away and quickly drew his shotgun.[/i]
"Back. Off."

Mason backed off. James lie on the ground, badly injured. His face had bruises and wounds all over it. Blood stained his armor where he was stabbed.

"What's the meaning of this?" [i]Jäger said to Mason with a booming voice, he sounded pissed off.[/i]

"He hurt... my family..." Mason said, his anger showing in his tone. "Yeah... And I don't even know who you're talking about," James tried to argue. He started to cough up blood.

"How so?" [i]Jäger quickly asks, gripping his shotgun tightly. Still talking with an anger tone.[/i]

He picked up James by the throat, squeezing it, choking him, and holding him up to eye level. "You stabbed her..." The blond Titan struggled for air. Mason's Ghost, Topaz, appeared. "Mason. Put. Him. Down." "Topaz, I told you not to intervene," the Titan growled. "What would Jean think about this?" Mason dropped James.

[i]Jäger, furious, hits mason with the stock of his shotgun, then grabs him by the throat, holding him a few feet in the air with one hand. [/i] "I told you to back off. I understand you're angry, but I won't let you kill another guardian."

James began to cough up blood. Mason struggled against Jäger's grip. The Titan on the ground was unable to move much. The extent of the his injuries lead him to call upon his Ghost. "Del...phi..." He coughed up more blood.

[i]Jäger takes a look at James's condition. He then gives a quick punch to Mason's head, and tosses him away. He walks over to James.[/i] "You alright? Can you walk?"

"No..." He began to cough up more blood, "Delphi...." James's Ghost, Delphi, appeared. "Alright big guy," Delphi said, transmatting the armor away to reveal a bloodstsined, grey undersuit. He began to clean up the stab wound, and repairing the damaged organs. He managed to repair the more vital organs. "I'm going to need some help," Delphi told Jäger, "But if you know a good medic, he can make it."

[i]The Titan paused for a moment, then a name came to mind.[/i] "Rhodes, get over to my location, now." [i]"On it" Another voice said over the coms.[/i] "My friend should be here soon, just hold on."

"I'll do what I can," Delphi said, working to patch up his guardian. Topaz locked down Mason, freezing him mid-transmat, an old trick Lush taught her.

[i]After a few minutes, a man could ve seen sprinting at them from a distance. He wore simple military gear, he wasn't a guardian, just another soldier.[/i] "Hey, came as soon as I could." [i]He said, out of breath.[/i] "Rhodes, run that healing unit, now." "You got it Jäger." [i]Rhodes placed down a device. It was a large box he had been carrying over his back. It began to emit a strange aura, soon, James's wounds began to heal. [/i]

The Titan groaned, trying stand up.

"Careful, no sudden movements or the wounds re-open." [i]Rhodes says, trying to assist. Jäger turns his attention towards Mason.[/i] "Why did he attack you?"

"He says that I attacked and stabbed his daughter.... I have no idea what he's talking about," James replied. "It was you! She told me herself," Mason yelled.

"You! Shut your mouth!" [i]Jäger was furious at Mason. His tone now louder than ever. [/i] "Do you know anybody else who could have stabbed her?" [i]Jäger asks James.[/i]

"I don't even know who he is, or who his daughter is," James said.

"He's desperate, his daughter identified you as the attacker, and he just rolled with it." [i]Jäger says.[/i]

"But who... are they?" James asked. "So you're telling me that you don't know who Sarah Grey is," Mason yelled. James went pale. "He's talking about the Mercury incident... and possibly the incident with Kross...." He muttered.

"What the hell happened at Mercury?" [i]Jäger asks James.[/i]

"Let's just say there was a duel that ended with someone getting stabbed..." James muttered. He began to whimper. He hated remembering that incident. His rage... nearly killed her. He had been deceived by someone close to him. James hated that day. He knew the scar from what happened would never fade. But he never thought that the rage from it would resonate this far. Maybe Sarah was right.... Maybe all Titans do have the same burning rage that makes them fight harder and mercilessly.

[i]Jäger paused for a moment, taking a moment to try and ubderstand each side, but he still wanted details.[/i] "Hey, other guy." [i]Jäger said to Mason.[/i] "What happened on Mercury?"

"I wasn't there..." Mason said, "I was told about it."

"But your daughter was, and that's where she was stabbed." [i]Jäger says, reminding himself of what has been happening.[/i] "Who else could have stabbed her?"

"He was the only one there.. besides her," Delphi said, appearing.
