I just "completed" the beta, the first single player mission is very good and I really enjoyed it.
The strike was good fun, and I loved the verticality of it all , and was relieved to see there were no stupid jumps , like the ones that reared their stupid heads in some of the Destiny raids. The scale of the strike was good too, huge open areas and some seriously big drilling machines.
I won't touch the PVP, it's just not there for me.
I would have liked to have seen more open world areas and the ability to level up , as we were able to in the original Destiny beta's. I assume this beta is to stress test the servers, hence the limited range of
activities ?
A further point:- The music seems somewhat generic and frankly lacking. Not a game breaker, it was just...un-noticeable, un-remarkable....generic. A terrible thing to say when I read it back as I'm sure someone worked hard on it , but there it is, definitely a step down from original Desitny soundtrack
A soundtrack with personality would be nice. That's why I own the original Destiny soundtrack.
It was awesome.
Other than that, good job Bungie, just that hours worth of gameplay ( the mission and the strike) re-assured me that Destiny gunplay , gameplay and level design is in good hands. Remember, no stupid jumping in the game anywhere please, It ruined the raids in the original Destiny !
The pre-order STAYS.
Roll on Sept 6th.

Lmao I understand where you're coming from but the jumping puzzles were easy in the raids. The hardest one was kingsfall's but they were easy as long as you knew how to use your brain. The music does kind of seem generic but Marty was fired so that's a no brainer there. It's still not bad music though.

Edited by CookieNiki: 7/18/2017 9:45:43 PMHis opinion is well articulated and valuable for other players (and for Bungie). Your reply is hollow and achieves nothing beyond making yourself look dumb and pretentious.
-
then what was the point of responding to my comment then? I'm just saying if the PvP isn't there and the soundtrack is "lacking" then wait till the full game to come out before making unnecessary comments about a beta.
-
Then wait for the first patch... Then the dlc... Then the... No. He's giving good feedback and you're giving poor responses. Here, have a bowl of salt 🍚
-
look at yourself wasting your time attempting to predict the future about a game that's not even out yet. You must have very low expectations coming from Bungie about this game.
-
I have zero interest in furthering this conversion, here's a donut instead 🍩
-
He is commenting THE BETA not the FULL GAME. Hard to get it?
-
Music is bad? Doesn't surprise me because Marty o donnel got fired, everyone's favorite composer got fired let that sink in. I don't know how to leave links because I suck at this but there's a batman commentary on why Marty got fired I won't mention it here because ninja's love bungie-visions cock down their throat. -
Mute all sounds? So you can listen to shitty millennial music? GTFO
-
Lol ok?
-
Maybe he is deaf, and doesnt need sounds.
-
Jumping ruined the raids? Lol!
-
No jumping challenges? Bummer, I was really looking forward to more in the way of jumping being integrated into the game and game mechanics.
-
For all you know there could be the most complex jumping puzzle in the history of gaming in the new raid. lol. Then what will you do?
-
So. Worse then ships in Oryx? Oh god
-
Those ships were E Z.
