If I'm not dead, then probably the same way I am now, roaming from town t town hacking up those who need it. It's not nice work but it's a good job."
-
"Whatever pays the bills, I guess. Hey, how are you payed? Per hour? Kill? I'd like to know for...reasons."
-
"Depends on the bounty. Most the time when a job is done you get paid, but things like protection can be daily or such, or it could be by kill. All depends."
-
"Because this dumb*ss called Leonard entered my room a little bit ago and I hate this guy. He's such an *sshole and ugly too. If you could kill him that would be good."
-
"Ouch. Hurtful." He says, faking being offended. "Though I will say, jealousy green isn't a good colour on you."
-
Chuck glared for a second before breaking into laughter. "Nice. I like you. You're not someone quick to pulling a gun out and pointing it at people. You've passed the test, man. Congrats."
-
"Wait to pull a what?" He says, a look of confusion about him at the mention of the word gun.
-
Chuck stares back in confusion. "A gun? It's like a metal object that shoots other metal objects at a target."
-
"So you mean a crossbow, correct? Granted not all at made of metal, way too heavy to lug around all the time. But the shit those snipers use, damn, the can fire a bolt pretty far."
-
"N-No. More powerful and smaller than a crossbow." Chuck pulls out a 22 gauge sawed off shotgun from his desk and places it on the table. "This is my boomstick. There are many like it, but this one is mine."
-
"I'm not going to lie, I have no clue what the blazing hells that is."
-
Chuck then picks it up and fires it at an intern that walks through the door, shredding the poor person to pieces. "Self explanitary."
-
He falls off the chair, gripping his ears. "WHAT THE HELL?! WHERE IN HELL WAS THAT THING PULLED FROM?!"
-
"DO YOU WANT IT?!" Chuck casually yelled, reloading the weapon and placing it in front of Leon.
-
"KEEP THAT THING AWAY FROM ME!" He says, yelling only because his ears were ringing. He sat back up, gently pushing it away from him. "RANGE HAD NEVER BEEN MY SPECIALTY, EVEN IN THE MILITARY."
-
He picked it back up and pointed it at Leon with a blank expression. "You sure? I don't think Vicky likes being rejected."
-
He swiftly moved to the side, placing a hand on the gun as he grinned. The barrel wasn't pointed near him anymore, as arcs of indigo electricity cracked on his hair "Well, I'm sure you'd be shocked at my response."
-
Chuck didn't even flinch, not showing a hint of aggression or fear. "I get it. Very punny. I was just offering a weapon, man. Though, the gun will feel the need to kill someone if you reject it. It'll probably be one of the asain kids under my desk again."
-
"You understand that's not at all how weapons work right? Like, they aren't sentient like you or I are?" He says, not sure if the man is joking or actually stupid
-
"You're right about most weapons, but this one has an AI stuck in it. Vicky is a real b*tch."
-
"You realize you could just ask for prisoners on death row instead of shooting slaves right? And isn't this supposed to be psychology?"
-
"These kids aren't slaves...they're less than that. They're like food for Vicky's bloodlust. Also, prisoners aren't what Vicky is into. She wants more innocent lives."
-
"Honestly if you don't tell her there's really no difference. It's like putting in a blindfold in bed. Whether it's a señor or señorita is kind of a mystery and doesn't really matter."
-
"She knows the difference and she cares. I can't change that....I'm also kind of scared of her."
-
"Once you've looked a ballista in the eye from 3 feet away most things generally find scare you. Hell my job was to drive on a motorcycle with a Spear and ram people when I served the military."
