OH IT'S SO GOOD TO SEE FLATLINE AGAIN
"I am Dmitri. These are... Civilians of dojo" Dmitri said, gesturing to the group with him
English
-
"Civilians of Dojo? What are they doing out here?" The Flatline started looking them over, curious enough. He did a quick bit of parting out their equipment in his head but concluded it wouldn't be wise to ask further when his only means of transport at the moment was currently still under Ama's control.
-
"Have you not heard? Or seen? The dojo, and the village around It has been destroyed!" One of the civilians cried out, being comforted by a second. "It is... Gone."
-
"Yeah, Damn blast almost blew up my ship on the evac. So far the only one I saw still kicking was this girl and her rig." "Was going to head out to Strata City before sh_t hit the fan so I was just out of range" Ama looked over at her ride and then the civilians. "I could get them out to Strata, though I'll have to get them some false IDs out there. It's dangerous being an outsider in that place"
-
"Strata city?" One of them asked, looking at Ama "What is that?" A second asked
-
She sighed, clearly not particularly fond of the subject ur went on. "Strata City is a man made landmass out on the northeastern hemisphere. A lot of Corperate juggernauts funded the construction and use it as a country where they primarily control the market. The good news is it leads to a very competitive pricing on good. Anyone living there is pretty much set for life. The main issue is the science ethnic and morals. Let's just say before the dojo I was not exactly made with good intentions. Long story short. If your approached by anyone related to Mantle Labs just decline whatever they offer"
-
"Is it defendable?" Dmitri asked, glancing at Ama
-
"Well I was made there and I can bring an entire city down in a matter of hours. Trust me, if any of the suits in there thought there was even the slightest threat to their assets, gods included, they should feel lucky if they are even allowed a formal execution."
-
"What about against what destroyed the dojo?"
-
"There might be someone who might see restoring the place within their interests. Someone is paying the Ex umbrella guy to fight so who knows" She pulled out her phone and there was a picture of sneaks making arrangements with someone but his face wasn't in view at the moment. A white suit, the only real clue.
-
Plot??
"Huh." Dmitri grunted, turning "We shall go there, then."
-
Ish. Been planning on fleshing out Ama's origin whenever the dojo rebuilds itself. Would probably conflict a lot with the current plot. I swear if the dojo was a real place, the construction crew must be freaking rich lol.
Ama tapped her phone and marked a place on the GPS. It looked to be somewhere out in the ocean linked by a large and long bridge on the digital map. "Hey Flatline you know a bit about hacking right? What's the chance you can get a hand full of false IDs working?" "Well, it's not out of the question. Know anything about their security?" "Yeah I'll let you know on the way. The longer we stand still the more likely we get caught." Flatline and Ama got back into the vehicle and brought as many civilians in her vehicle as she could on through the woods with her.
-
"Take them, we will follow." One of the civilians said, getting off to give Dmitri his spot
-
Several miles later crossing the bridge, a town appeared upon the horizon. It's walls were intimidating and the construct looked dystopian in nature. Ama parked some distance with what could be assumed to be the faked passes all made up to seem rather convincing. The city itself may have seemed oppressive in appearance but like Ama promised, it looked astoundingly protective in nature. She then came out with several other things and a list with what looked like company names on it. "Alright so I wasn't really sure of the count but I made plenty of them. They are split up between male and female IDs so make sure you grab from the right side and each one should have ten grand in currency on a debit card. Might not be a permanent solution but at least it will hold you over for a few months. I also made sure to print out a list of black listed companies to avoid as much as possible. It's the best I could do with the time I had so hopefully it all works out."
-
"Why do we need the identification cards?" One of the civilians asked
-
Ama paused for a second "Visitors are... very limited because of laws in that city." She was withholding information thinking it was for the best.
-
"Ah, of course." The civilians went through the identification, grabbing it and walking towards the city itself. "You have much tanks" Dmitri said
-
"Yeah, I'll be going with them to make sure nothing happens" Ama grabbed her own ID so she could keep an eye on the citizens for the time being. Meanwhile Flatline pulled out a duffle bag he was keeping in the back of the ATP. "So, What do you think? Seems this "evil empire" relies on plasma based projectiles. From what I saw on my way out i'd say they have way more travel time compared to trusty old ballistics."
-
"It seemed to take much time to charge. As we were able to escape."
-
"That too but the weaponry itself. Soldiers adapt to their surroundings and what they are fighting against. Someone has a sword? You get a shield."
-
"You mean to say that this is our shield?" Dmitri asked, looking at the city
-
"What I'm suggesting is attack them with something they haven't dealt with. Something they don't know how to defend against" Flatline looked up the Umbrella corporation's old website showing the classic logo and slogan 'our business is life itself' the website wasn't updated in a while but it still had a umbrella military roster and Scott Ryder// Codename: Sneaks Occupation: Umbrella security/ Virologist "Thoughts on biological warfare?"
-
"Biological warfare? They'd have suit filtration systems."
-
"They still eat and drink right? Contaminated food, a bad bottle of beer, only takes an inside job to pull that off."
-
"It could work... But inside someone we need, Da?"
-
Edited by ALIAS-F4LS: 7/15/2017 1:53:07 PM"That shouldn't be too hard. You see the armor they use? It creates a sense of anonymity within their ranks. All we would have to to is scavenge the wreckage of a downed ship and figure out who's the best actor." Before long a soldier clad in umbrella logos and a knife twirling around in his hand was walking out of the city. He must have just finished with his deal with whoever it was that was inside the city. His hulking T-103 Ivan Tyrant followed silently with a trench coat and cap disguising its more horrific parts as Sneaks whistles along as he looks at a parked car and starts trying to hotwire it. "Well that big thing is out of the question" Flatline joked.
