"Oh speaking of the Op, how did that go? That squad was solid?"

"Of course, Aidan's team worked great. Plus I made connections with the Alliance and learned about what we're dealing with in terms of Cerberus. So all in all, it was a two in one deal." Cylus replies.
-
"Good, good. I'm glad it worked out. The more you know, the easier this damn war will be." Marker said, checking his data pad "By the way, it's officially the next day. So our little episode with The UNSC happened yesterday." Marker said, chuckling slightly. One day after "Friend or Foe" One day prior to Harmony's Invasion

"All this flying is going to mess up my sleeping schedule. What would I call this? Space-lag?" he comments jokingly
-
"Yeah, sure. That's one way of putting it i guess. How you liking it, Q?"
-
Edited by BondyMilk: 7/13/2017 3:25:45 AM
*Oh, I don't sleep. Unless you're talking about being here physically, then I'm loving it!* Q responds. He was standing in the back of the drop ship curling and uncurling his fingers. *I've analyzed and downloaded Cylus' fighting patterns as well as added other aspects that I've picked up along the way. Improvements, if you will.*
"Improvements? Don't get cocky pal." Cylus says.
*I just changed it to better suit me. You prefer to take the hit instead of block it. You take that and use it as a counter. I on the other hand, can't. Not all of us can get shot and stabbed and walk away from the fight like nothing happened.*
"Ah, you do have a point." Cylus laughs. "Smart thinking as always, Q."
-
"Always the-" He was cut off by the lurch of the ship as it exited FTL. The dropship rose up, dashing out of her hangar and flying towards the planet "I'm excited!" Carly said, looking around the small dropship
-
"Aren't we all?" Cylus looks to Carly.
*Marker, you were saying something.* Q says politely
-
"Bah! Nevermind. We're about to change this war, we're about to change everything!"
-
"I like the sound of that!" Cylus exclaims
-
Soon afterwards, they landed at the Alliance/Militia base, and went off to find the portal. Vaughn's device led them through the mountain range, eventually finding the Area Cylus had come from
-
Cylus walked ahead, looking around the area. "This should be it." he calls out. He kneels down by a cliff, the snow bombarding his hood. "Over here!" he calls. "I can feel it!"
*This does look familiar. Even with all the snow and stuff.* Q comments
-
"I see a rift like thing, you get the frequency, Vaughn!" "Aye, Lassie! Ready to send it." "Alright, whatever your message is, Cylus. Say it now."
-
Approaching the rift as it became visible Cylus walked until he was directly in front of it. It was nearly invisible against the mountains and rush of snow from afar, so it would be hard to find unless you knew of its existence. "God I hope his team picks this up." he mutters. He clears his throat before speaking. "Barry! Barry Allen! It's me, Cylus, contacting you from the other side! I'm calling in a favor... Again. I don't have much time to talk, so if you or your team somehow get this, I need you to come meet me on the mountain where you brought me. This is important, so I'll be waiting..." Upon finishing his message, Cylus stepped away from the rift. The singularity emitted energy in pulses, and not even Q could doubt its presence.
*And now, the hard part... We wait.*
-
"Sending the message through, attempting to find a common frequency between the two dimensions." Carly said, placing the multi helmet on as she looked at the rift "I've got it. Message has sent, Lassies and gents!" Vaughn said excitedly, kneeling down as he tapped away at the data pad
-
"It shouldn't be long now. In matters like these, he's always on time." Cylus says
*What shall we do while we wait?* Q asks
-
"Didn't you want to play Pac-Man?" Marker asked, looking over at Q
-
*Eh. That's his thing.* Q says, looking over to Cylus
Cylus was sitting down on a rock, toying with snow in his hands. "That's not all I do. I have plenty of other hobbies! They're just not all... portable." he says. He rolls up the snow into his hands, forming a snowball, before throwing it at the back of Q's head. He lets out a laugh as it explodes, already making another.
-
"It can wait, Cylus. We can have a snowball fight afterwards." Marker said rather seriously
-
"Aw man." Cylus says with a chuckle. He looks down at his wrist pad and watches the time pass. "It should be any minute now..." he says, looking at the rift
-
"Yeah, Cylus. We're just waiting." Carly said, sitting down alongside Marker
-
3 minutes and 27 seconds later... Cylus bolted up suddenly, turning towards the direction of the rift. "Did you guys feel that?" he asks, keeping his eyes on the singularity of energy. "Check it out!" he exclaims.
-
The group looked up at the rift, awaiting what was going to happen
-
Edited by BondyMilk: 7/13/2017 9:30:08 PMThe rift suddenly began glowing with bright white light, contrasted even against the falling snow. Before long, it began to take on a bluish hue before turning into a swirling blue portal. Cylus retracted his helmet and smiled to the group. "He's here..." he said excitedly. Suddenly, the group felt as if the portal was pulling then towards it. The snow began falling in its direction, and the sound of crackling energy could be heard. Lightning to be precise.
-
"What the hell..." Marker said, rising to his feet as he stared at the portal
-
Edited by BondyMilk: 7/13/2017 10:02:58 PMA burst of wind nearly knocked them off of their feet. The portal suddenly stopped swirling and once again became dormant, but leading out of it was a trail of melted snow. Cylus turned and looked past Marker, clapping in slow applause. "That was quite the entrance, old friend." he says A figure stood behind the group, his arms crossed and grin stretched across his face. Bits of lighting still crackled around his body, but he didn't seem to take notice. "You called?"
