[i]"The Dojo. 'Least, when I was informed about it, it was a place for warriors to meet and fight; now, half the people I talk to seem to 'not be in the mood to fight' or 'don't do PvP'.... Confusing. Anyways, normally you'd have to do a test to gain access, but they scrapped that rule. Just walk on in!"[/i] She laughed a bit to herself, before turning to face Vel and walking backwards, through the gates.

[i]"Once a year? You gotta be joking. ... three times a year, at the very least."[/i] She looks around the courtyard; due to the rain, it was mostly empty.

Must be a pretty sad collection of the universe's best warriors if it gets destroyed that often."[/i] [b]He held up his left arm over his head, and from a bracelet he was wearing, a spinning vortex of dark and dirty water sprouted from it, swirling over him like a shield, or in this case, an umbrella. [/b]

[i]"I mean, it always comes back. So there's that."[/i] She shrugged, and snapped her fingers. A purple umbrella seemingly formed over her head, obviously blocking rain... and of course, the umbrella was an illusion and Vio was still getting hit by rain, but at least it wouldn't look like that.

He reached in and removed something, before the rift closed. It was just a large porcelain dinner plate. Like, really large. He handed it over to her, presumably to use as an umbrella.[/b]

Vio smiled, almost sadly. [i]"I'm only not fooling anybody because I'm snapping my figures when I make an illusion,"[/i] She stated, raising an eyebrow at the dinner plate. [i]"And, uh... I think I'll pass."[/i]

[i]"Your loss. And snapping fingers makes it more convincing."[/i] [b]He took the plate and threw it like a frisbee, sailing towards the wall where a new hole opened up, swallowing the plate before vanishing.[/b] [i]"Hope that hits dad."[/i]

Vio laughs, shaking her head slightly. [i]"Well, you've got a dad. That's one better than a whole bunch of people here... including me, though I've got adoptive parents, luckily."[/i] She falls silent for a moment, before deciding to redirect the conversation.
