"I could probably make it on my own but you seem like good conversation so let's go, Xevi."

"Gotcha gotcha, Vel'noi, zilma ei Valinrous ien Xinrhobia. Katour ei zlaminas, Retnugr ei shla Zizixgy, Zizizgy Tarvimsr, Sevimor ei Drami'vla, shla Ziziygy flaino ximator. Xevimor ei shla Zizixzy." She smiled, and began walking towards the dojo. A short moment later, she looked over her shoulder to ascertain that Vel was following her. "Sooo... Vel'noi, zilma ei Valinrous ien Xinrhobia. Katour ei zlaminas, Retnugr ei shla Zizixgy, Zizizgy Tarvimsr, Sevimor ei Drami'vla, shla Ziziygy flaino ximator. Xevimor ei shla Zizixzy. What's your dad, and your home world, like?"

I come from the Zizizxy, specifically the Zizixgy, or the Void." He starts following "Basically think an endless expanse of space and purple mist with big floating rocks containing sone of the most dangerous and deadly entities... ever. My father is one of them, Valrinous, the Lying King. He uh, tricks people into selling their souls to him. He doesn't even do anything with them. He just mounts them on the wall. Seriously, he doesn't even devour them or anything like Mom does. He just... leaves them there. Have you ever been getting a cup of crushed hopes at night and had like a thousand souls just staring at you? It's creepy as heII."

Katour ei zlaminas, Retnugr ei shla Zizixgy, Zizizgy Tarvimsr, Sevimor ei Drami'vla, shla Ziziygy flaino ximator. Xevimor ei shla Zizixzy. I'll stop. Anyways, a cup of crushed hopes, devouring souls, and an endless expanse of mist? Your world sounds like it defines creepy and weird. Then again, everybody here's weird, in one way or the other." She continued walking towards the dojo, not glancing back.

"Well, the Void's about as creepy as it gets. On the layer cake of the cosmos it's above the underworld and below the Abyss. The underworld is pretty boring actually, since by its nature it's just a lot of the same old same old. The void gets really crazy though, since concepts like space don't exist there. Well, it does, but it's in a 4D way. Things exist in lots of different places at once. Like, depending how you look at a room changes what the room contains. It's confusing for those whose minds don't really think in 4D."
-
"Ah. I think I just realized that I don't care... sorry 'bout that. Too confusing for my simple brain. Anyhow, we've arrived." Vio gestured grandly at the dojo, having led Vel to the gates of the complex.
-
"I lived there longer than I care to remember and it still hurts my brain, at least in the physical world. In the void everything has a dream logic to it that doesn't really make sense." He looked up at the imposing structure "So what is this place exactly?"
-
"The Dojo. 'Least, when I was informed about it, it was a place for warriors to meet and fight; now, half the people I talk to seem to 'not be in the mood to fight' or 'don't do PvP'.... Confusing. Anyways, normally you'd have to do a test to gain access, but they scrapped that rule. Just walk on in!" She laughed a bit to herself, before turning to face Vel and walking backwards, through the gates.
-
He followed, examining the place, tail taking on a more snake-like appearance. "I'm assuming it gets destroyed at least once a year?"
-
"Once a year? You gotta be joking. ... three times a year, at the very least." She looks around the courtyard; due to the rain, it was mostly empty.
-
"Huh. Must be a pretty sad collection of the universe's best warriors if it gets destroyed that often." He held up his left arm over his head, and from a bracelet he was wearing, a spinning vortex of dark and dirty water sprouted from it, swirling over him like a shield, or in this case, an umbrella.
-
"I mean, it always comes back. So there's that." She shrugged, and snapped her fingers. A purple umbrella seemingly formed over her head, obviously blocking rain... and of course, the umbrella was an illusion and Vio was still getting hit by rain, but at least it wouldn't look like that.
-
"If you want to fool anyone you should start by actually making something happen." He swiped at the air, tearing a hole in it, a hole into the void. He reached in and removed something, before the rift closed. It was just a large porcelain dinner plate. Like, really large. He handed it over to her, presumably to use as an umbrella.
-
Vio smiled, almost sadly. "I'm only not fooling anybody because I'm snapping my figures when I make an illusion," She stated, raising an eyebrow at the dinner plate. "And, uh... I think I'll pass."
-
"Your loss. And snapping fingers makes it more convincing." He took the plate and threw it like a frisbee, sailing towards the wall where a new hole opened up, swallowing the plate before vanishing. "Hope that hits dad."
-
Vio laughs, shaking her head slightly. "Well, you've got a dad. That's one better than a whole bunch of people here... including me, though I've got adoptive parents, luckily." She falls silent for a moment, before deciding to redirect the conversation. "Anyways... wanna go kill evil shit?"
Yes: BOSS FIGHT YAY No: Fruk you.
-
"I'm a VoidSpawn, killing stuff is in my blood. And trust me, dad is a loose term. We lived in the same house and he taught me how to lie and that's about it." He pats his sword. "I'm sure whatever needs to die will fall to Zithral."
-
"Well, there's rumors of an evil little shit over in Ollimand, it terrorizes people now and then and demands 'sacrifices'. I'd honestly like to kill it, but I think I'd need some help. ... you down?"
-
"Yeah. I'm always down to kill stuff."
