"That sounds like it'll be fun. But a piece of advice, I've heard it's easier to move through existing holes rather than rip entirely new ones." Cylus says. "When I wound up here, I was brought through a similar type of rift that I assume brought you guys here. If we can find those rifts, it might be easier to just harness those."
-
"See, that's why we're looking to create our own rifts. We'd need an idea of what they looked like, if they had a frequency or anything. So by working on tearing one open, we learn how to find one. Than we could track one down."
-
"Makes sense. You can't find something if you don't know what you're looking for." Cylus says. "I may have some notes that might help, but I'll have to find them." he adds
-
"When you showed up in this universe, do you remember where you ended up?" Marker asked, glancing At Cylus

We landed somewhere around the summit and he brought me down to the ground." My friend said he came here once on accident when he first learned how to run between dimensions and told me this would be a good place to escape to when I left my Earth. Apparently something up there brought him here." Cylus says. "And this is the same friend that I'd be trying to contact to get us to the other side... and based on what you once said, you might have heard of him." he glances at Marker, referring to the joke he once made about being a "second-hand Flash."
-
"Barry, right?" Marker asked, glancing over "Barry? As in Barry Allen?!" Carly suddenly said in excitement, looking over at Cylus
-
"The one and only." Cylus chuckles. "I was a close friend of his before my life went south, but he stuck by me despite everything that I did. He offered to bring me here and I accepted. Next thing I know, we're running down the face of this mountain and he brings me to Dojoville."
-
"Hm... Could you take us there if we returned to the Dojo?" Carly asked, glancing over at Vaughn then back at Cylus
-
"It'd be a hell of a hike, but if you pack a sweater we should be fine." he replies.
-
"We just here from the dojo, only to go back." Marker said with a chuckle, shaking his head in dismissal.
-
"Ah well, the more the merrier." Cylus adds. "I can lead, you guys can do whatever tests necessary. It'll be fun!" he says, turning to Carly and Vaugn
-
"We'll take a dropship there, so we can carry the equipment necessary for the investigation." Carly said, looking around "Where's the arc rifle at?"
-
Cylus tips his head to the table as he'd placed it down after firing. "Sounds like a plan. I'll have Q check out any notes I have archived to see if that helps, I can get that tech later." he says.
-
"Yeah alright, off we go. Vaughn, get the frequency scanner. I'll grab the Multi-Helmet." "Ya got it, lassie." Vaughn said, rising to his feet and walking away from the table, towards one of the tables. Carly went off, looking for the "Multi-Helmet." "What the hell is a Multi-Helmet?" Marker asked, no one in particular
-
"Yeah I'm also lost..." Cylus adds
-
After a few moments, the two engineers came back, Carly having a strange modified pilot helmet underneath her arm. Vaughn was holding a small data pad, with a camera of some sort on it
-
"What's that supposed to do?" Cylus asks, inspecting the device.
-
"Tis sahpposed tah bee a device that reeds frequencies, based on the area."
-
"Interesting. And with that helmet you're able to see a physical plane of it?" Cylus asks
-
"It should, yeah. We got thermal, night vision, you name it and it's in this helmet. Ultraviolet lights, etc." Carly said, smiling widely "Made it myself. Unfortunately it's not quite combat ready."
-
"How so? Systems too fragile?" Cylus asks
-
"Yeah, they are actually. There's too much going on in the helmet. If I can modify the control system a bit, they should be good to go. But until then, they're not useful for much else."
-
"That's unfortunate. When they are ready, I think they'd be great for combat. See things the enemy can't."
-
"Exactly. Go places were the enemy can't, attack from positions the enemy can't see. It'll do great things I think." "SPEAKING OF WHICH! We should introduce you to the Gorgon program when we get a chance." "Not now Carly, we have more pressing matters to attend to." Marker said, leaving the room "We're off, eh!" Vaughn said, following after Marker
