"This is one of those trials people wouldn't know about to begin with which is why we use the cipher, so these enemies of ours don't find out to start."
She looked back at the note.
"Maybe something on the submarine, I didn't spend much time searching it."

"A submarine? There might be places hidden in it that would allow for the key. It could also have been lost at sea if the submarine went well... down." Minerva says as her tail kinda sags to the ground. Xeno patting her head as he finishes his coffee standing up. "We can help you look if you want. I'm not sure what I'm looking for but, I can tell something out of the ordinary." He gives a slight smile as Minerva gets up ready to follow in suit.
-
She finished her coffee as well. "Then follow me." She led them back into the wilderness and to the tree line at the beach where the submarine was laying. It was a tiny yellow box shaped like a fat torpedo with a small engine inside as well. "Here it is... not much to see..."
-
He runs his fingers over the machine his eyes gazing over it. Minerva entering into it looking around and sniffing around curious. Xeno looking over to her as he shrugs. "This thing is kinda small how many people would fit in it." He pats the metal as Minerva hops out running back over to Xeno. Looking between the two as if curious of the answer.
-
"It isn't meant to fit people." She said it acting like he should have known that. "We just run these back and forth through the water." Looking along the outside, the only thing that stood out on it was a small serial number and on the side in black letters: "From: The Abyss"
-
"From the abyss huh..." He looks around the metal knocking on the outside seeing if any parts of it are hallow his eyes looking back to her. "Is there why place you could hide something in here? Or a black box with its info stored?" He leans up against it as he thinks. Minerva sitting down next to him as she gazed up. Trying to think of something as well as she does so.
-
"No that would sacrifice its sturdiness und- wait, from the abyss?" She went and looked at the label. "They normally just have the name of... well something you don't know about..."
-
"I'm guessing the name is weird." He says following close behind her Minerva waiting at the front looking around. Looking near her as he does a quick look over her before looking away. "So what's different about from the abyss?" He says as he leans up against the torpedo like box again. His hands behind his head as he looks over.
-
"It's normally more... specific about where it's from." She pulled the note back out and held it open. "Lets see what happens when we run 'the abyss' through... Cyber, scan this and try deciphering it with that." She sounded like she was talking to herself until the hologram popped back out. It was a full body that looked similar to Cornelia, except light blue and transparent. It scanned the paper and started transcribing it. "Here we go..."
-
He looks over curious now as Minerva moves over. His eyes looking at the hologram as he tries to read out what it says. "So what does it come out to?" He tries to do the puzzle in his head but can't think of anything. Leaning in a bit closer for a better look.
-
The figure organized the letters into a table and rearranged them. Soon after a couple of seconds, it started translating letters. "... D... E... S..." Finally after a few moments: "Descent Completed... "
-
"Descent completed.... so they were successful? Why the need to decrypt it at that point?" He shrugs as he taps his foot against the torpedo. A small metal tapping noise occurring, maybe he was bored maybe he wasn't sure how to help. To anyone looking at him though it wasn't very clear. "So what will you do now?"
-
"I don't know why, but now we wait. That means the trial will be over soon I'm guessing." As he tapped on the sub, it rattled and creaked. It seemed like the thing had been through a lot.
-
"Do you have any idea what the trials about?" He says as he moves over sitting on the ground. His eyes looking up into the sky as if he was planning on waiting a while. He was obviously curious to be sure about what was going on. Minerva laying beside him as she closed her eyes. "Or does on the triale? Trial taker? Know."
-
"Oh I know, so do the people in it. You don't though, although I'm not sure I should tell you..." She looked at him deciding whether or not to trust him. "By the way, don't sit around waiting, it'll be at least a couple weeks before we have anymore word about it..."
-
"Is there a place we should go? I can walk you home if you want." He says standing up looking around as he stretches a little. Shrugging as he does so his hands going behind his head once more as if it was out of comfort. "But I'll leave that up to you."
-
She smirked at him. "Sure, why not?" She started walking, taking one last look at the sub.
-
He followed in suit the breeze causing his hair to flow back and forth. Looking up into the sky for a little bit as he waited for her to show him he way. Minerva playing with her paws a bit while she was waiting. "Well lead the way I'm ready when you are."
-
"Lets go then." She walked back toward the streets of dojoville again with him and the wolf.
-
He follows her into dojoville his eyes glancing around as he looks at the sites. He hadn't really explored the place yet he was kinda sequestered to the outside of it. A smile on his face as he kept pace with her Minerva tilting her head around to check out the difference smells. "So what does where you live look like?"
-
"It looks a bit older, but I like it, just a nice little town home." As they passed through the streets, the buildings where they were headed did start to look more aged in style.
-
He looks around impressed by all the old homes turning back to her with a happy smile. "You know I haven't really been around a place this old in a long time." He thinks back to when the last time was probably when he was a child. In the.... well special place him and Minerva trained. Chuckling as he keeps following her with a grin.
-
She turned back to him. "What do you mean by that? You used to live in places like this?"
-
"Uh well not exactly it's kinda a long story." He says scratching the back of his head as he gazes over the buildings. With a sigh he tilts his head as if thinking where to begin. "I grew up in a spirit realm with a lot of old buildings and architecture to "honor the past" and all that good stuff." He said looking back at her awaiting the you must be a nut job look as he kept pace with her.
-
She didn't say it, but gave him the look of it. "Oh... how special... I just grew up in an older era, but not quite as old as these. I still like the style of them though, reminds me of home."
-
He paused as he saw the look with a sigh as he looked down at Minerva. The dog nodding slowly as it became a white ball of light entering Xenos chest. As he moved forward a bright flame began carving a symbol of a Phoenix into his left arm before the flame vanished. Tossing a ball of fire between his hands and rotating it between his finger tips as he looks over. "Easier to believe now right? Also growing up in a place like this must have been fun!"
