"I really hate this part." Cylus mutters to himself. He pulled the trigger on both of his pistols, the gunshot ringing throughout the room. [i]Gunshot[/i].
The gun in Cylus' left hand fired, effectively killing Vector's man. On the other hand, his right pistol jammed, giving Vector the opportunity to act.
He fired his gun at Cylus', effectively catching him in the lower abdomen and arm.
Doubling over in pain, Cylus clutched his wounds before charging Vector, engaging the two in a hand to hand brawl.
Punches were thrown, some connecting and some countered, a knife was pulled and was sheathed in Vector's leg, a gun was wrestled for but eventually kicked away. Cylus had to end this or else he'd bleed out and he'd never finish what he had vowed to do.d
They fought for what seemed like forever until Cylus managed to grab hold of a stray gun. Kicking his adversary onto his back and stepping on his chest, Cylus aimed the gun at Vector's head.
"Go ahead. Even if you kill me, [b]I win."[/b] Vector spat.
Cylus stood there and aimed the gun with shaky hands, about to collapse at any moment.

The sound of gunfire rang throughout the docks, alerting the police of their locations. Sirens were heard as Cylus lay propped against a wall, bleeding from multiple wounds. He took off his helmet and let out a satisfied sigh. He simply say there oblivious to the world with the exception of two words ringing throughout his head.

Marker rose to his feet, walking up to the windows overlooking the simulation. This was what interested him the most, what happened after Cylus had died.

Edited by BondyMilk: 7/9/2017 8:51:09 PMQ, noting Marker's presence, continued the simulation. SWAT teams and police swarmed the building to find the bodies strewn across the floors. The warehouse was in shambles, bullet holes and shattered windows everywhere. The screen cut to Cylus' point of view, laying against the wall facing the door. This was the point at which he breathed his last breath, as the screen went motionless. Swat teams kicked down the door and flooded the room, gathering the bodies. One man in particular seemed to ignore Vector and his two men, walking straight to Cylus instead. Kneeling before him, he put hos hand on Cylus' shoulder and shook his head. "My God. What have you gotten yourself into?" ... The screens turned black as the simulation ended, and Cylus returned to the real world. "Who the hell was that guy? I don't remember any of that happening." he says. [quote]*I kept recording after you were gone. I went as long as I could, but I sustained too much damage... I'm sorry I couldn't get more.*[/quote] "That's not a problem, Q. We just have to figure out what happened between me dying and rising from the grave. That's where we'll find the answers." Cylus replies. He took off his helmet and held a determined look on his face. [i]"I know it."[/i]

"I can help you track the guy down." Marker's voice said through the Speaker systems

"Marker?" Cylus asks, looking around. [quote]*Observation room. He came in earlier.*[/quote] Cylus heads up the stairs and opens the door to find Marker in a chair, watching the situation play out. "Wha- How long have you been here? How'd you find me?" he asks

"I like to visit the arena oftentimes. It's nice watching others fight instead of myself. Now, I could theoretically get you back to your universe. To track the guy down." Marker said, glancing over "The arc reactor opened a door to new FTL engines that we're trying to implement, we believe we could also use it as. Dimension Hopper. But it's all experimental."

"We could do that? That's... That's incredible!" Cylus says. His face lit up but he tried to hide it subtly. "Whoever that guy is, he holds the key to what's happened to me. If only I could have gotten a look at his face."

"It's all... [i]Incredibly[/i] theoretical. So I don't want to get your hopes up or anything like that." Marker said, looking away

"Well if that doesn't work, I could try to get in contact with someone on that side." Cylus replies. "I had a friend back on Earth... Ran so fast he could rip holes into other timelines or universes. That's how I got here." he looks go Marker. "If we could get through to him, maybe he'd be willing to do it again."

"Inter dimensional messaging? It could be possible, but you'd need the right frequency and other things."

"I think Q could get our frequency down, but as for the gear, that would take some work. If the work I did with Carly can be modified to do so, maybe it's possible."

"You can visit Station Seven than!" Marker said, getting excited at the potential

Cylus smiles excitedly and rubs his hands together. "This wouldn't just help me, but this would completely turn the tables on the war! New connections, imagine the possibilities!" he says

"We could go into universes with technology we could only dream of... We could UNSC reinforcements here, hell we could even go to a universe where the Titan Wars have only just started, bring heroes we've lost back!"

"When do you want to leave for Station Seven?" Marker asked, calming himself down slightly

"Whenever you feel it's time. It'd give me a chance to finally get that new tech you promised." Cylus says. He takes a seat and looks down at himself. "I'll have to go change of course." he says, nodding to his old suit

"Yeah. We can take care of the additional upgrades to your suit when we get to the station. Carly's been staying there since the arc stabilization. She's really in love with the project."

"As in you'll be coming this time?" Cylus asks with a raised brow. "And as for Carly, I noticed the excitement ever since I even mentioned the tech. First time she said something nice to me." he chuckles

"I might be yeah. And yes, that's how you get Carly to like you. You give her a piece of technology she hasn't seen yet, she'll fall in love with it. And actually be kind of nice to you."

"Well I'm in! It'll also give me a chance to see how the project is coming along."

"You might be a tad bit proud. Carly and Vaughn were actually able to loop the energy throughout the base to give it an infinite power source, and to keep the reactor from ever expiring or wasting excess energy. Along with that, they were able to actually start transferring some of the energy out of the reactor and into smaller items. She's developed an experimental rifle that fires arc projectiles. The ultimate goal being to have a blink drive, or slip stream device similar to what the Invictus and UNSC have."

"An arc rifle? Slip Drive? I never thought it would be capable of so much! When Rachel and I first started on the project, all we had in mind was sustainable power, but modifying and weaponizing it is just [i]unheard[/i] of!"

"Well, when you make something sustainable, infinite. You can do incredible things. That's why I was saying we could theoretically start dimension hopping in our ships. We'd only be able to go there and back once, before having to recharge the engines but imagine what that could do! And yeah, Vaughn and Carly were able to create a rifle that sustains a small amount of arc energy and fires controlled bursts of lighting type gunfire!"

"That's crazy!" Cylus exclaims. He looks up and imagines all the things the tech could do and lets out a satisfied sigh. "Let's do it. Let's go up to station seven!" he says enthusiastically
