Along the path a woman who seemed as pale as perhaps a porcelain doll with eyes that glowed a yellow in the dim lighting of the night. To many she could simply be mistaken as a phantom walking in the night but to those who knew the afterlife knew the woman as Ash, one of deaths many acolytes. She wore a dress that seemed old but still magnificent in appearance. She seemed to be talking to someone which shortly dissipated after they finished and she continued on.

 • "Odd, a being of death? Perhaps not from my realm.." She thought, taking steps towards the other female. The woman could certainly feel the coldness of her, as she was a split from Death himself. "Who are you?" She questioned when just a few meters from the woman, sounding very curious.

 • The woman looked over at the armored skeleton seeming to have had her attention drawn away from something. Her face seemed to only show very mild emotional reactions though it was hard to tell if she was either lacking in emotions or simply preferred to express them in moderation. "Oh, hello. I am Ash. I assist restless spirits in their passing. A calming voice in death if you wish to think of me as such" The way she talked and her presence seemed to have a very calming aura to it. It almost seemed therapeutic being near her. Whether it was a form of magic or simply how she composed herself was a mystery.

 • The woman herself felt no real calm from her, probably because she's a part of Death. She nods with a question on her mind. "Interesting. I'm Thaan, Hell's Retriever. I take the souls of the damned to Hell itself. A very...depressing job."

 • "I don't see it as such. There is a certain enjoyment in achieving ones task, no matter the nature of the assignment. The living would likely thank you for your service of removing dammned spirits from their world." Even with the fragment of death she spoke to,she seemed to proceed with her peaceful tone and calm nature. Perhaps it was simply a part of who she was. If anything, it at least explained the amount of spirits sensed within her proximity.

 • "There is no enjoyment in throwing souls into Hell, watching them rot eternally in that dark pit. I kill to do that, end people's lives to pit them to more suffering. What joy comes of that?" Thaan was curious of this soul, she seemed to always be positive, even though Thaan was very negative. Strange, usually Thaan made everyone negative just through atmosphere.

 • "Perhaps it's in perspective." She produced a small black object, merely the size of a marble. She seemed a little fixated on the object as she cleaned it with a cloth. There was something odd about the way it shined. It was like it was reflecting in broad daylight under the stars. "What if you thought of it as you are likely saving many innocent by removing harm from this world? If a murderer died and a family lived, is it truly a terrible task?"

 • "There are just as many seemingly innocent families that are damned, as murderers or criminals. I have to kill them all." Thaan glanced on the object, but mainly kept her focus on the conversation itself.

 • "Perhaps, maybe death is just a blind happening, or maybe there is a master plan even above our understanding."
