He believes the Balrog to be a truer, darker, more powerful dark lord.[/spoiler]

The Uruk-Hai moved to their hidden positions. The Trolls roared. The goblins unleashed a volley of flaming arrows. Then they changed positions. The Balrog rushed over to absorb and feed on the flames and shadow.
