The first place the dozen went was to check the bar. To no surprises, a few quickly went to ordering drinks but the others were actually checking. Looking through the crowd was a man that definitely fit the description. The individual had the build of a heavy weight prize fighter and a gas mask sitting next to him while he had a few drinks.
"Oi! Niles!"
One of them said trying to get his attention. Niles looked over seeing a few of his crew waving at him with some scattered here and there.
"[u]How the hell did you manage to find me?[/u]"
His scared up face looked surprised. Almost in disbelief that they were there.
"Followed the tracks up to here boss. Losi tires on a flatbed. We know the look."
"[u]Heh right. Lemme tell ya. Place ain't half bad. Beats the hell out of looking for water and fuel in that bombed out city.[/u]"

A few of the gang were a bit roudy but mainly seemed interested in drinking anything above all else. Half of them seemed far too pleased to have a cold mug and food that wasn't in a can to really cause too much of a ruckus. "[u]Hmph. Raiders. All of em. Damn good mechanics too. Prefer to run everything on diesel since it takes less to refine over gasoline.[/u]"

"They're your Raiders, Niles was it? Maybe you could lead them down a better path." The pilot stated, as he ordered a whiskey

"Can't go around calling myself the good guy. I've done some pretty bad things too." He downed the rest of his drink and sighed. "Wasn't always like this. Used to be a marine. One of the good guys. Chief engineer"

"Something like that. Not really sure when I ended up their boss though. Things fell into place and it kept us alive. Fighting for a water tower, scavenging for cans of food in an abandon grocery store, turf wars, you name it. Learn how f_cked up you can get, and where you draw the line. Sounds like some cr_p you would here in a movie but it's just how it is"

Niles sighed. He knew it was a common mistake so he didn't seem too aggravated. "Were raiders not thieves. If your talking about paying, I've got more than enough cash to pay for em.
