[b]What lies beneath
Midday[/b]
[i]it was pretty hot day for summer. But the day seemed off as someone fighting could be heard as it seemed like it was getting pretty heated as it was Lola arguing about something and it wasn't very pretty at all. She could be seen arguing with both her sisters.[/i]
"Why the hell not Serenity!!"
snaps Lola
"Because I said no!!"snaps Serenity
"Your not the boss of me Serenity and Leyla. I don't bloody care if your older than me!!"snaps Lola
"She just concerned about your safety!!"snaps Leyla
"NO you guys want to treat me like a child and im not!! im a damn adult!!"snaps Lola
"We forbid you to go there!!"says Serenity
"OH YOU FORBID ME HUH? WELL @$## YOU TWO!!" Shouts Lola
[i]Lola then storms off surprisingly pissed off pushing past the people that had gathered from them arguing. Whatever they were argued about seemed pretty important as Lola is seen heading outside of the dojo's walls in a mad huff. She seen walking towards the direction of the shoreline. Whatever it was has bothered her a great deal. As she can now be seen staring off into space at the sea. As she still looks pretty mad. [/i]

Steven chuckled awkwardly, pulling his hat down slightly to cover his face.

"Aww so cute well im gonna leave two alone now. It was nice to meet you mister."says Syrilth [i]with that the girl disappears with a giggle a smirk spreading across her face as she walks away back into the cave leaving the two alone.[/i]

Alex entered her general vicinity on his quest to gather samples. He began by filling a vial with sea water, then another with sand. He scoured the beach collecting shells, rocks, just about anything that he could find. When he was satisfied with what he had gathered from the surface, he began to dig.

[i]she hadn't noticed him yet as she stared out at the sea. She still looking really mad. But what she mad about was a mystery as she remained silent for a while..[/i]

As Alex dug, he tossed shovelfuls of sand in her direction. He did not appear to have noticed her, or, if he had, to care. He muttered to himself incomprehensibly.

[i]some the sand hits her and she mumbles something in another language then looks in his direction. She gave a look of annoyance his direction while moving away from the sand he was flinging. [/i]

Only at that point was Alex visibly aware of her presence. "My apologies," he said. "I did not realize you would object to being covered in sand. It seemed you were in the process of decomposing." He briefly glanced up at her. His eyes were hidden behind what appeared to be a pair of prescription sunglasses. "I see now that you are intent on still moving, however little." He set his shovel down, and began to reach down into the hole.

"I guessed as much based on your scowl. I would say you ought to smile more, but I have learned that such comments are often considered inappropriate." From the hole, Alex pulled what appeared to be an arthropod. It snapped at him with tiny pincers as he held its carapace between his thumb and index finger. He placed it in a bag, then sealed it. "I don't suppose that starring out at the crashing waves has done anything to address the cause of your anger?"

"Older sisters were telling me it isn't wise to seek out my grandmother. but i want too meet her even if it means leaving for a time to journey there. They forbaded me to go."she says

"Oh i will but dont try follow this is a place where humans can't dwell. My grandmother is a mer like i am"she says [i]she starts stepping into the water which was easy cause she didn't on shoes and she was wearing shorts. She had waded in up to her waist a then suddenly submerged herself completely into the water. From where he was standing on the shore he catches a brief glimpse of a dark blue tail fin that had a tiny glowing scales dotting it. as the girl surfaces again she is no longer standing and looks like she had sprouted gills. [/i]

"Fascinating. To undergo such a significant metamorphosis in such a short time span... I've never seen anything like it. Would you mind if I took a sample for study? Some blood, a bit of skin, even a few hairs will do."

"Well to be fair not many have seen me in form very often. But i guess there's no harm in that i guess."she says [i]she swims a little more into the shallows. Her whole body is visible when is she in the shallows.[/i]

Alex plucks the hairs from her head so quickly that by the time she feels anything, he is already sealing them inside a plastic bag. "I can run a few tests on these. Not nearly as useful as a more comprehensive examination, but then, I don't believe that I can get all the information I want while remaining within the confines of the Hippocratic oath. Not that I'm officially licenced, mind you." As he continued to ramble on, it became more and more apparent that he was speaking mostly to himself. He stopped abruptly and looked back at the girl in the water. "Best of luck with your search. Perhaps one day I will explore this world's oceans, but for the time being I think it is best if I return home."

"Before you go here"she says [i]she had reach down and plucked out one her many glowing scales and hands it to him. The scale was still glowing after being removed. And it was the size of a half dollar.[/i] "Oh just so you know im actually only half mer my other is dragon. But i will return if i dont find her"she says
