"Anyway, what exactly are you going to hunt with that?"
-
Well, I'm with the Exiled, and since I don't eat I give to them. But these aren't for hunting; this is more for defense.
-
"Paralysis of specific bodily areas for defence?"
-
Police officers use stun guns. What is the difference?
-
"Stun guns knock people completely out. "
-
If they're knocked out they cannot move.
-
"Then why not just electrify the arrows?"
-
Such an inquisitive man, are you not? Trust me when I say it isn't that easy for an arrow to hold a charge.
-
" I once was once out for two days because I wanted to paralyse an opponent instead of shooting them in the knee."
-
*He seems to smile slightly* Then I shoot them in the knee. And it stops moving. So your opponent is hobbling long after the paralysis wears off, however the paralysis takes out that whole side, thus making you able to get up close and take them out.
-
"Then why even use a bow at all, if you're aiming to kill? Obviously they already know your position by virtue of the fact you're in that situation in the first place."
-
I never said I aimed to kill. I aim to defend and assist.
-
"So you've got a stun weapon that isn't that good at stunning, a stealth weapon that isn't needed for stealth and a toxin that isn't that good at being a toxin?"
-
*He frowns, rather annoyed at the mans inquisitions* I never said it was bad at stunning, I do use stealth to my advantage and the toxin is fine. And unless you make your own functional ammunition, let me do what I KNOW works.
-
The man shrugged. "Fine."
-
*He nods* So what brings you here?
-
Edited by ookshmook: 6/22/2017 8:57:02 PM"My job is pretty much being an armed handyman for by boss so he can do something he finds mildly interesting."
-
Okay... If you don't mind me asking, what is your boss doing?
-
" I don't know, and, fortunately for my employment, don't care."
-
Ah, so you blindly follow orders then. I don't know about you but that's not a good thing to do
-
"Most of my job is just preventing societal problems, and I don't really have any other choice, so.."
-
Oh, okay I guess. If you were, say, an engineer, that would make less sense
-
The man smiled slightly. "If I was trained as an engineer, I probably wouldn't have been in the situation that got me this job."
-
Oh really? If you don't mind me asking, how did you get it?
-
The smile and relaxed composure vanished in an instant. "As a matter of fact, yes, I would mind." His casual manner returned as quickly as it left.
