"Don't jynx it then!" Cylus says hurriedly as if he could prevent it. Looking at the jump ship, he nods.
"Is this Gates figure in there?"

"No, she'll be at the outpost." Marker stepped onto the ramp that led into the cargo bay, but stopped. He turned to look at Cylus "It's already jinxed..." Marker said sadly as he entered the cargo bay

Cylus stands beside Marker as they go up into the cargo bay. "If that's the case, then we'll be ready... At least I hope we will." he says grimly

The ramp pulled upwards and closed the bay, the ship shot off into the air, Marker walked through the Cargo bay "We need -" He was cut off by the deafening sound of alarms as the bay went into a dark red colour. [i]"EMERGENCY ALERT; MILITIA TROOPS AND SHIPS BEING RECALLED. 6TH AND 7TH FLEETS ARE ENGAGED IN COMBAT. REPEAT. ALL SHIPS AND TROOPS OF THE SIXTH AND SEVENTH FLEETS ARE BEING RECALLED."[/i] The alarms came to an end, and the ship's lights returned. "Shit..." Marker whispered, stopping in his tracks. "Shit. Shit. Shit...." Marker said, turning to look at Cylus.

"Uhh... I'm guessing this isn't a good thing?" Cylus asks alarmingly, looking at Marker.

"Hopefully they'll be fine.... We're part of the Ninth Fleet. Not our place to get involved if they don't need us."

"Ah okay... Is it the IMC?" Cylus asks. "Two whole fleets must be worth something."

"Dunno, might be something worth investigating. But as of right now, we know our mission Parameters. Getting to the outpost."

"Of course. How long is the ride?"

"Not long, we're headed to Ko Rudo. The mountain range. So maybe five minutes." Marker walked over to one of the consoles, and tapped on the screen. "ID Confirmation: Colonel Marker, head of the fifth Battalion of the Iron Brigade, part of the Marauder Corps and the Ninth fleet." The console chirped, and he spoke again "Requesting information on the current events of the Sixth and Seventh fleets, and current events of any battles." The console chirped again, and a robotic voice spoke through the Cargo bay. [i]"Current information; Whereabouts of the Sixth and Seventh fleets- Arcturus Station Mission Parameters- Assist Alliance personnel in the battle against Cerberus troops, provide coverage to [u]Invictus[/u] and [u]Deimos[/u] crews."[/i]

"Cerberus?" Cylus asks, leaning against a wall. "They a problem?"

"Yeah, a pretty big one actually. Another one of the enemies we're facing."

"Understood, I'll do my research. Will I be seeing any of them any time soon?" Ctlyd asks

"Hopefully not, and also, if you want to do some research on them you'll have to visit some of the Alliance troopers." The dropship began descending, and soon landed on the ground with a [i]thump.[/i]

"Maybe you could introduce me to some, but some other time." he says as they land. "Shall we?"

"Some other time? I probably forgot to mention..." The cargo bay ramp fell and Marker exited into the cold air of the mountains. Buildings laid around the area, between one and four stories tall with Grunts, Pilots, and other troops rushing through the area An N7 operative walked towards the ship, only to walk past the ramp and continue going. [spoiler]Alright, it you need any visual reference for the N7's and Alliance troops, just ask. I'm just kinda hoping that you've played Mass Effect so you'll know [/spoiler]

[spoiler]I dabbled, but I'll go ahead and look it up[/spoiler] Cylus watched silently as the operative passed, and then turned to see all of the soldiers carry out their business.

"This is the Alliance/Militia outpost on Takatai. First steps towards a full alliance with them. You wanna learn about what made the alliance between us? Or just go to our HQ?"

"Could we by chance, walk and talk?"

"That works too." Marker started walking, passing by the rushing troops "Do I start with how the two powers met?"

"That would work," Cylus says, following Marker down the ramp

He walked through the man Made streets, the "base" was more of a small village then anything. Like a colony. "It started with out very own Jack Cooper. His arrival here with a small amount of troops marked the beginnings. He set up our first safe house, inside the dojo itself and soon after troops were coming in." "When the first few alliance operatives arrived, we left them on their own and they mostly left us. Though, somehow Cooper became involved with the Alliance and presented a potential alliance." "They needed help with the rising Cerberus threat, and the Militia needed helped against the IMC."

"Unknown. IMC hasn't made a move in the past two, three weeks. This outpost is the first potential move in a while."

"Yeah... That's what I said. In my personal opinion, there's something going on. Maybe, the IMC is looking for Allies."
