Summary:
Another week, another set of vendor rolls. For PvE, we have a couple of nice Rocket Launchers and LMGs, and a great Scout from FWC. This is great for PvE engagements that are just a little out of Fatebringer or Imago's effective range. Only thing that could make this Scout better is extended mag. Definitely pick this one up. In terms of PvP, Palindrome sits on top again, with a nice mix of perks from previously sold variants. I'd prefer Rifled instead of Reinforced tough. In a close second is the Parthian Shot, which comes with a bunch of solid PvP perks.

I'm not going to touch PvE, but I'll go over the PvP rolls that are posted above. As always, this is just me talking about what I see, like, and don't, so YMMV. And no disrespect is intended to the OP, who continues to do a great job of providing a valuable service to the forums. With that said:
B-29 Party Favor (C): Life Support, Smallbore, Third Eye
- Frankly, I dislike this roll quite a lot. Smallbore reduces an already painful mag size, and doesn't give much stability or range for the trade. Life Support is a 25% chance of proc'ing if you are absolute, which is a strong b-list perk. But Third Eye is a complete waste anymore, there is an artifact for permanent and enhanced Third Eye. I'd pass on this one. - pass-
The Hero Formula (C): Life Support, Braced Frame, Hidden Hand
- I want to love this gun, because it's just insane to use. The stability is nice, Life Support is a good back-up, and Hidden Hand is great on scouts. The main issue I have is it's hard to kill with this archetype since it needs so many crits to kill. No problem buying and trying it, but realize that in a hand cannon and Hawksaw world, it's going to be uphill. - pass, due to the archtype-
The Palindrome (C): Sureshot IS, Outlaw/Icarus, Reinforced Barrel, Reactive Reload
- Ah, the same roll as the last vendor Finnala's Peril. It reloads fast, it 2-bangs, it's an all around fun gun. Keep in mind that the perk combo allowing a 2-shot is time-limited and situational, and the loss of Rangefinder makes the last nerf hurt a lot more, but this thing is still a tank. Think about grabbing it if you can't find anything else to buy, strongly. - consider buying-
Last Ditch 001 (DO): Flared Magwell, Hammer Forged/Close And/Or Personal, Full Auto
- I'm going to have to vote pass on this in PvP. I think in PvE it would be monstrous, but in a world where reloading generally means grabbing the next green crate, the reload speed boost is only so-so. Add in the full-auto widens the pellet spread, thus reducing accuracy over distance, thus reducing kill range, and it's not terribly well suited to the Crucible we know today. - pass-
Ex Astris (V): Kneepads, Perfect Balance/Accelerated Coils, Rangefinder
- There is nothing hate about this roll. Kneepads affect you with any weapon, Perfect Balance makes it easier to keep the bolts tight, and Rangefinder allows the same effect. I'm a Saladin's Vigil person, but this one will go in my inventory. -buy-
Teacup Tempest (V): Sureshot IS, Mulligan/Cascade, Hammer Forged, Rangefinder
- I love this gun as a whole, it just sounds chunky and punchy. This roll is decent, but I would pass on it. Sidearms are a dime a dozen, and great ones are easy to find. Having 2 essentially junk perks in the first column makes it a b-list weapon. -pass-
The Wail (FWC): Lightweight, Hammer Forged, Hidden Hand
- This makes me mad, I was going to buy the one from last week, and I got busy with a Bungie play-a-long. Bottom line, this gun can out-distance the Palindrome. But to do it, it must have Hammer Forged and Explosive rounds, preferably with Rangefinder added in. No hammer-booms, not Wail for me. -pass- Additionally not listed: Angel's advocate, running Zen Moment, Braced Frame, and Reactive reload. Get a kill, reload, and you have a 3-shot Mida for 5 seconds. -buy if you like PvP scout use- Parthian Shot, running Outlaw, Braced Frame, and Headseeker. - Lightning reloads, massive stability, and the ability to preserve your optimal TTK if one of your bullets drifts to the body, this thing is a great option. It's not the easiest thing to use in Crucible, but if you can get good with it, it can demolish people.
