[b]She led him inside the ship via its small hanger, one with empty glass pods and large space. He was eventually lead to a white room in the ship's cabin. It simply had a table and two padded chairs in its center[/b]

[b]He moved to the staircase, a low rumbling showing signs of chaos outside. As he went down, he was suddenly stopped by rapid bullet fire right over his head. The nearby doorway leading to a new level might give him a chance to regroup...[/b]

He jumped down the stairs that remained and pushed through the doorway into the hallway. He looked to the right and left

[b]He could see a city under attack by an unknown force, skyscrapers burning from the assault. Something pulled Scorch from the hole, the sound of someone trying to communicate. It came from a small earpiece left on a nearby desk[/b] "...Hello? Is anyone human still alive in this city?"
