I think I have found that here.” -Cylus[/b] [b]BACKGROUND[/b] [spoiler] As revealed in his log, (plot found within the dojo thread), Cylus was once a hero on the Planet Earth, known by many different names. He partnered with his first love in fighting crime in his city, as well as abroad. Years later, Rachel would be killed by the infamous crime lord known as Vector, and Cylus would embark on a relentless hunt to avenge his love. When the time came, Cylus fought through an army of Vectors men, fatally wounded but still pushing through the pain. Upon ending Vector’s reign, he himself collapsed, thought to be dead by his friends and the world that knew him. Despite his age, his experience shows in his face, his eyes wary and always on guard. Donning the hood and mask, he fights along side his allies with a wide array of technology and weaponry.[/spoiler] [b]TECH, TOOLS, AND WEAPONRY[/b] [spoiler][b][Q:][/b] An A.I. built by Cylus, Q resides in his helmet, aiding him in battle. Giving Cylus a HUD, Q can highlight points of interest, enemies, et cetera. Also controllable through a concealed pad on his forearm, Cylus can use Q to hack and control any technology that he wishes. [b][Gauntlets:][/b] Cylus’ gloves/gauntlets hold many uses. On the forearm is the previously mentioned wrist pad, as well as ejectable metal arm fins. On the underside of each wrist is a grapple launcher with a near unlimited supply of “metal roping.” With this, Cylus can shoot grapples at any surface and swing to wherever he needs. [b][Guns:][/b] Cylus has a large selection of weaponry, but usually sticks to two handguns and an assault rifle. A highly trained marksman, Cylus can use any firearm he chooses. For his style of fighting, he favors his dual customized Mk23 Pistols. For operations that require a little more firepower, he also carries a tactical Hemlock 3-round burst assault rifle. He carries an extensive supply and variety of ammunition, as well as any necessary attachments. [b][Knives:][/b] Cylus also carries a large number of knives on his belt, legs, and even boots. Most of which are foldable knives, although Cylus keeps his favorite balisong near his hip. Larger than the average balisong, it is heavier and more efficient in fighting against armored opponents. [b][Explosives:][/b] Although not quite a demolitionist, Cylus tends to carry a couple of explosive grenades, smoke grenades, and flashbangs to battle.[/spoiler] [b]ABILITIES[/b] [spoiler][b][Bloodlust:][/b] Ever since the night Rachel died, Cylus has had access to a state of mind that he calls his bloodlust. When in said state, Cylus takes reduced damage and feels little to no pain, as well as gains increased attributes such as strength, speed, and reflexes. When fighting Vectors army of men, Cylus once entered a bloodlusted state and killed 42 of them, using nothing but a knife and his fists. This has appropriately granted him the alias, The Demise. [b][Impulse:][/b] A shorter extent of the bloodlust effect, Cylus is more in control of his Impulse ability. When in this state, thing around him slow to a dreadful crawl, and Cylus is able to take control of any situation at hand. In this state, Cylus recalls stopping airborne knives and even flying bullets. Despite this, the full extent of his ability is yet to be defined. Although it is powerful, if Cylus stresses this ability too much, his brain can shut down, ultimately rendering him useless for unknown periods of time. [b][Enhancement:][/b] Cylus has undergone numerous tests in which he has obtained what some would say are super human abilities. He has an extremely high pain tolerance as well as a medium leveled healing capability. His strength, speed, stamina, and reflexes have also all been enhanced greatly beyond that of a normal human. [b][Phase Run:][/b] An ability granted to his suit by the Milita’s tech, Cylus can enter phase run mode, in which he enters a mirror dimension for stealth purposes.
