"The layout is the same but the furnishing..."
He then pulled out a small pocket knife and started digging it through the book as it squealed in pain before eventually reverting back into an ordinary state.
"Why would I want a book that tries to eat you while you read it?"
He tossed it over to the side and looked to see if any of the other books were moving. The stillness was neither comforting or truly promising.
"Two ways around and a good chance we will be dealing with more graphic novels. This should be interesting"

"Why don't we just climb to the shelves to the top, then scoot along?" Zora said, looking towards the top of the bookcases

"Hmm... not a bad idea honestly" He took a look at the top and walked over to the side of one. He lifted himself up and put his hand out. "I'd still watch the top shelf, these things can be tricky sometimes"

"Hmmrph." Zora grunted, grabbing his hand and pulling herself upwards, placing one foot against a shelf and the jumping upwards. She grabbed up onto a shelf, about several above where Gerald was and looked down. "Try to keep up." She laughed, beginning the ascent upwards towards the top

Gerald held true to his nickname 'The White Rabbit' climbing rather quickly. A few book began snarling and springing out oh the both of them. The pistol became unholstered and a few shots rang out into a few air bound books.

Zora swung towards the little beast books with her sword, stopping her climbing for a moment

"Lets make things more interesting" Gerald materialized a match and lit it, dropping it on some torn pages. He started making his way to the top while the fire started to grow causing fake books at the bottom shelves to run around frantically.

"Evil..." Zora laughed, a bit maniacally, as she clambered onto the top of the shelves

Gerald sat on the top watching his handiwork burn as the books spread the flames. "Well I think that the kids would Say this is 'lit as f_ck' " He said with a grin on his face over his joke. The fire started spreading and smoke was beginning to rise. "As fun as it would be to just watch the books run around in a panic, we should probably move on before we become part of the bonfire"

"Excellent idea..." Zora said, beginning to SCOOT along the top of the shelves

Gerald crawled along behind without any complaints. Making his way to the end of the shelves and hopping off. He opened one door and quickly slammed it shut before opening up another one and walking in. Painted glass windows let some light into the room in which a large frozen man stood staring at them. The chapel behind him was frozen solid. It remained there with its frozen sword which it then lifted and pointed. He ran his cold glove of a hand across his neck threateningly with what looked like the staff of the spear mounted to the wall behind him. "Well I'd doubt I could convince him to just hand over the shaft. I guess we get to kill him" The large man stayed where he was waiting for someone to come forth to challange him.

"Hello?!" Zora said, staying towards the back of the room

The figure simply stood there. Waiting.

"Great... Boss fight..." Zora looked back at Gerald to insure he was prepared

"A boss fight? Have you been playing too many video games?" He joked as he activated his sword and drew his gun. The monstrosity looked at them and noticed the weaponry drawn and began the march over with his sword at the ready. "But I guess it's fitting enough"

"Let me tell you something about Video-games..." Zora entered a defensive stance, pointing her blade towards the "boss" "They're not wrong."

"Hmph" Gerald aimed his shot and fired at the gigantic man. But it didn't seem to react. The frost giant appeared to be numb to pain as it continued to come closer.

"Great... He's powerful..." Zora sighed to herself, awaiting the giant

The giant stood over them with its sword in position. Every vein in its arms seemed to bulge out as it sent its sword screaming towards the duo. Gerald materialized a brick wall in the way of the swing which only slew down the sword's momentum as he got out of the way.

"Holy..." Zora rolled to the side of the brick wall and slashed towards the beasts arm, aiming for the veins

The giant looked at his bleeding arm in anger and directed his rage towards its attacker swinging its blood covered fist her way

Zora ducked underneath the fist and rolled to the side of the swing. "Little help Gerald!" Zora said, stabbing at its arm again

"Well this trick takes a second to warm up" Without as much as a warning the giants sword and armor were worn to nothing more than ancient relics. A harpoon flew through the air from a time rift sticking into the large man who began straining the chain in its attempts to continue pursuit.

"REALLY? You're going to cheat?" Zora yelled out at Gerald as she jumped backwards, spun around and moved towards him

"Up, up, down down. But really, why play clean when were just going to kill it anyways?" The creature continued to put a massive amount of strain of the chain pinning him to the spot as Gerald casually continued to drill bullet hole after bullet hole into the ceaseless giant.

[spoiler]Oops, sorry for the delay. Been caught up this last week [/spoiler] Zora sighed to herself, sheathing her blade as a large railgun formed in her hands. She took aim at the beast, charged the gun and shot directly for its chest
