As Cannon dashed towards her she put her hands together and slid them off on another. As her left hand moved off her right hand a rapier made of ice created itself and gave off a frosty mist. She thrusted towards Cannon as he got closer.

He clenched his fists and charged. For his plan to work, he needed to be able to make physical contact.

Diana swung both her blades at Cannon. Her right blade would sweep at his legs, while the left would go at at throat.

He dove between both swings, slamming into her and activating his special power.

As he tackled her to the ground, Can saw it. It was a party. People wore old looking dresses and there were knights adorned in their armour. Cannon sat in a chair that overlooked the party and festivities. His vision was very blurry and dizzy, so he assumed he was drunk. He stood out of his chair and looked around, and he opened his mouth to speak. "Go to hell you rascals!" He yelled with Diana's voice as he laughed and drank red wine from a goblet. Then, however, he felt someone grip his shoulder. Then, the touch of cold steel came around to the front of his throats and a painful burn cut across his neck. He saw blood spew from his body as he fell forwards. He put his pale, crimson stained hands on the table as red liquid poured out from his throat and into the bowl of soup and glass of wine in front of him. Everything went dark suddenly and he felt himself hit the floor. The vision ended, and as he looked down he saw the terrified Diana shaking as he was on top of her. "N-n-no." She said. "No, no. NO!" She screamed as she kicked Cannon off of her with an addition of the ice cold wind. Cannon was sent flying back towards where he had started as Diana got up and stumbled around like a mad woman. She raised her hands and twenty speared made of ice surrounded her but each one seemed to be moving in place randomly. She stumbled around, her blades in hand. "NO! This...that....this can't be..." she looked around aimlessly as she swung her blades around viciously a few times. She looked at Cannon then. "STAY BACK OR I WILL KILL YOU!" She screamed as the spears took aim at Cannon.

He slowly tried to rise to his feet, but failed as his strength was spent. He settled for glaring sliently at her, too exhausted by the cold and bloodloss for much else.

"You...you bastard! You insufferable bastard!" She cried out. "I won't let you kill me! You won't kill me!" She yelled as she suddenly cut the rope of the bridge to her right. The rope was cut and let off a [i]t-thung![/i] noise as if came loose. The side to Cannons left became looser and dipped slightly from the lack of support,

He grabbes onto the other side to keep from sliding off. "From what I just saw, you already died, mir'osik." [spoiler]Translation: crap for brains[/spoiler]

"That's right! That's right I did! Which means I can't die again!" She said madly. "Now DIE! DIE! DIE!" She cried as she cut the other rope. The other rope flung up, and then, nothing happened. Diana stood there for a moment, looking at Cannon madly. "W-why didn't it-" Suddenly, the middle of the bridge snapped and the ice exploded as the half of the bridge fell towards the cliff side. Cannon felt his legs leave the ground as he was flung backwards towards the cliff. His body slammed into the side of the cliff, which made his arm feel like it was crushed by the fantastic impact as his grip on the rope became looser.

"Uurgh!" He grabbed the rope with both hands, gritting his teeth as he watched Diana.

As he looked down, he saw that Diana had gripped onto the boards. She climbed up ever so slightly as she let out audible breaths of panic. It seemed that in her stress, her magic had faded away and the massive blizzard dome followed suit and disappeared. She was about a persons distance away from Cannon, while Cannon was seven feet away from the top of the cliff. Suddenly, the familiar black curly haired pale skinned face popped up from over the cliff. "CANNY!" Bella called out as she looked down at him.

"Bella! Run!" He grunted, not wnating Diana to get her again as he began to slowly and painfully climb hand over hand.

"No!" Bella yelled. Then, Diana called out. As Cannon looked down, he saw that her left arm had completely snapped back. "HELP CAN!" She cried out. "DON'T DO THIS! PLEASE! I BEG OF YOU!" She yelled. Can saw the tears streaming down Diana's face as she held on with her right hand. She jumped up to grab onto another board with her only available hand, which put her at Cannons feet, and as she grasped on to it the board snapped and swung down only being held by the remainder of rope. Diana let out a cry as she held on for dear life with her only hand. "Canderouse! Grab my hand!" Bella yelled as she lowered her hand to Can.

Cannon hesitated for a moment before grabbing Diana and pulling her up slightly. He braced his other arm and feet as he climbed so she wouldn't be able to dislodge him, and slowly made his way up. "I swear if you make me regret this... I will kill you... And it will be much slower... And more painful... Than a slit throat..." He growled, his breaths laboured.

"D-don't worry." Diana told Cannon quietly. Suddenly, she pulled herself up, and locked her lips with Cannons suddenly and surprisingly. As she let go... Cannon felt his entire arm go numb. The one that carried Diana. "I'll take care of that part." Suddenly, Cannon saw his left arm became frozen in ice and it exploded, dismembering it from his left shoulder in a significantly less painful fashion. As the arm exploded Diana fell from its grasp as she laughed and cried on the way down. Her laughed carried through the canyon as well as her screams as she fell towards the water. Suddenly, she hit a rock that jutted out from the side of the cliff side. And the screaming went quiet as her body fell the remaining way and she crashed into the water below. Can looked down and saw that his entire left arm was gone. Blood spurted out slowly but it looked like his shoulder had been completely frost bitten which prevented blood flow. "CANNY!" Bella cried as tears streamed down her face as she looked down on Can.

"... Why not." He sighed, slowly working his way back up. He was honestly in to much pain to even care that his arm was gone at this point.

"C-can?! Your arm!" Bella cried as she held her hand out. Can could reach it now.

He took her hand, gritting his teeth as he climbed over the top. "Yeah... That stings... Ow..."

As Bella let out a grunt to help Cannon over the edge, he couldn't help but feel tired as he fell back on to the lightly layered ground of snow. Bella looked over him as his vision began to blur and darken. "Canny?! Canny it's going to be okay!" She told him.

He smiled slightly, knowing his augmented body would heal once he passed out. Bella actually heard him laugh quietly as he blacked out.

"Canny?! Canny!" Was the last thing he heard before all he saw went dark. [spoiler]End of chapter 33[/spoiler]
