"Uh, Mr. Fortis, nice to finally meet you" Cylus says with an extended hand. "My name is Cylus, I'm a soldier in the Militia and I think you might want to come with me..."

[b]Fortis shakes his hand.[/b] "Why? Has something bad happened?"

"Well, you see Fortis, there are a few people outside those gates that want to take you. And by the looks of it, it's not to a tea party." he says, gesturing to the gates. As they enter the guard post, he waves Fortis over to the balcony. "See for yourself."

[b]Fortis looks over the wall, causing a frenzy amongst the crowd. A few even take shots at his head with their rifles. Fortis ducks back behind the wall before he gets hit, though.[/b] "Well, best not keep them waiting. Is there a way I could communicate to them without being amongst them?"

"Sure..." Cylus says awkwardly. "But it doesn't seem that they're here to talk. What do they want you for anyways?" he asks, handing Fortis an intercom speaker

"I kind of killed one of their higher ranking commanders." [b]Fortis answered. He then spoke into the intercom.[/b] "Hello Crotations! Might I say what a wonderful afternoon it is!" [b]The response from the army consisted of booing and jeers.[/b] "Might I speak with your commander without being shot at?" [b]Fortis said.[/b] "Yes, you may." [b]One of the lieutenants of the army said. Fortis flew down and walked with the lieutenant off into the forest. About an hour past, and suddenly, the army took out their weapons and began firing on the dojo.[/b]

"WHAT THE ACTUAL #!@% ?" [i]Cylus cursed as the dojo walls began taking fire. The ancient walls had been hit with much worse, so the bullets had little effect. Cylus just had to worry about those cannons. These people came to his city armed with weapons and begin attacking for no damn reason, so you could bet he was pissed. Entering Phase Run Mode in his suit, he disappeared into a mirrored dimension. Hopping over the balcony, he draws two blades and prepares to fight. It wouldn't be the first time he had taken on an army.[/i]

[b]The guns in the back begin to pound the dojo' walls, and the soldiers beams pepper tiny holes throughout the dojo. In the back of the army, Fortis could be seen with a massive one of the creatures. It seemed as if they were no longer angry with each other.[/b]

"Shit! What just happened?" Cylus muttered. Q, his A.I. spoke up [quote]From the looks of it, this is a double cross.[/quote] "Well no shit Sherlock!" Cylus yelled. "You think this classifies as a level 3 threat to the city?" He asks. [quote]I don't see why not[/quote] Cylus chuckles to himself. "Well, I [i]have[/i] always wanted to see these in action... You thinking what I'm thinking?" [quote]Already on it.[/quote] [i]Cylus, still in phase run mode, shoots a grapple over the wall and swings back to the guard tower, pressing a couple buttons on a remote device on his wrist. He grins devilishly and deactivates PR mode, waving to the army below as he becomes visible once more. Then, with a push of a button, the Mac Cannons installed all around the dojo began firing, annihilating the army. Leaving nothing but Fortis, the commander, and the last line of the army, Cylus waved once again, taunting them. Nothing was left but smoldering holes where men and cannons once stood and the smell of smoke. Cylus whistled loudly[/i]. "Ha! What a show! How'd it look from down there?" "Nobody told me that the easy way could be fun!" he said to himself

[b]From inside the depths of the forest, thousands of beams fired at the dojo. There were many more soldiers than there had been on the field. The density of the forest made it hard to see the exact location of the soldiers.[/b]
