"Stab it in the heart, remove the crystal from its eye. It's one of those. Just careful not to pick the wrong choice." Once Gerald made his way in range he began harassing the creature with bullets and jabs, swiftly weaving in and out of range of the golem's arms. He managed to make an opening where both the eye and the glowing red center were visible.

 • "Here goes!" Zora jumped upwards onto the golem's chest and stabbed inward towards the heart

 • Red began to glow from the concrete between the bricks that made up the creature as it began to heat up rapidly until the entire thing glowed orange. The creature became enraged flailing wildly in every direction in a violent tornado of destruction. "Oh no..." Pillars of flames shot out of the top like hellish vents scorching the air as the unstoppable fury spun wildly tearing tree from root with every hit. "Unless you have something up your sleeve I'd suggest we take our chances with the closest door inside!"

 • "AGREED!" Zora hopped off the golem, landing on the ground with a thump She quickly jogged towards the castle, looking for a way in

 • Gerald looks for anything he can make an escape with and finds a small servants quarter door in the side of the castle. He didn't stop to think of what could be on the other side. Only that it could get him distance from that thing raging outside. "Quick come" He pulled the knob pulling the door open so fast the hinges shook a little from the franticness of the yank.

 • Zora ducked down underneath his arm like an gymnast, performing a roll through the doorway and into the castle

 • He slammed the door and backed away from it and waited to see if the monster would vent its anger out on the door. To some luck it seemed too preoccupied attacking any and everything else outside. Gerald materialized a lantern and saw at the end of the room what appeared to be an old man in mud soaked priest attire. "Shh, there's monsters everywhere. I don't think they noticed me yet. They were supposed to send someone. Are you him?" "I'm afraid not."

 • "I suppose we'll have to do Mr Muddy." Zora quickly interjected, stepping towards the man "Who are you?"

 • "Ted A. Hamilton. I was sent ahead to wait for someone claiming to use the old whip. I've been stuck running around in this death trap for days! Next thing I knew I ended up springing out of a lake." Gerald thought up a lie to tell the man to make things easier. He quickly formulated a forgery in his mind and smiled warmly. "Well, considering the situation has changed a bit, I was told to retrieve you and after I take care of a few things. I'm, a close friend to the Morris family and more than happy to help in his stead" The way Gerald behaved clearly showed his theatric side. Able to play a role in such a manner it could be easily mistaken as the truth. The old man sighed in a relief. "Huh, well as long as I get out I'm not complaining. Say, who's the woman?"

 • Zora looked over at Gerald with a raised brow at his sudden performance She looked back At Ted and sighed "I'm his mistress."

 • "Well that's great but what do you plan to do? Without the whip we don't have many options." Gerald materialized a note of paper in his pocket as to not draw and suspicions and pulled it out and unfolded it. On the image was a boy and a very ornate looking spear. "It may be true that under most circumstances none of us would be able to use the whip to its potential but there is another option. The Alucard Spear was originally made to complement the whip and could work as a substitute if we find it. Finding it might prove tricky but it would make things easier"

 • Zora didn't say anything, just nodded in agreement and going along with her "Master's" agreement.

 • "why didn't I think of that...." Ted said seeming somewhat disappointed in himself. "Well it was rarely used so not many would know too much about it. For now stay safe until we get back. It would be tragic to have to bring back a body to the church" The priest nodded in agreement and sat down on one of the crude beds around the servant quarter muttering a few prayers. "Well miss, I believe it's time to look for this spear of ours" He beckoned Zora, as he went towards a door leading deeper into the castle.

 • As soon as Gerald closed the door he dropped the act seeming disappointed. "Hmph, when a hero is needed we get an old codger. Still, he did say he spent days in here so he might be useful if we ever get lost and I doubt someone of his age survived with just the clothes on his back."

 • "If he was useless, I would have killed him right there." Zora said coldly, looking around the place they had entered

 • "Hmm, maybe later" He didn't seem to pay much mind to her tone, seeming casual about an act of violence against the old priest. "But for now, let's see if the old spear is where is supposed to be." Gerald continued down the old hall passing a few gargoyle statues handing up above. Some seemed to turn their head watching as they passed. For some reason Gerald didn't seem interested in attacking them.

 • "Strange isn't it? They never seem to bother anyone but when they crystals and gem stones they go crazy. I'd bet their stomachs are worth a fortune with the amount of jewelry they must have swallowed" Gerald stopped short of a few book shelves holding his arm out the gesture to go no farther. "Now as for the books, well, that's a whole other story. A few here and there are cursed. Nasty pieces of work that grew teeth and attack whatever walks across them. I'm sure I have a scar or two from being too careless the first few times around"

 • "Are you trying to tell me that you've been within the walls of this castle before this?" Zora asked, looking at the back of his head "You sure seem to know alot about it is all."

 • "Well I would be lieing if I said I didn't know the place. In one timeline of be calling this place home sweet home. Though, there are a few differences" He looked over a few of the books before quickly snatching at one. The book began snarling and trying to open its mouth in his hand. "For example, these things were somewhere different and there weren't as many monsters roaming about the halls."

 • I'd expect not if it Is supposed to be, home sweet home." Zora commented, looking at the book

 • "The layout is the same but the furnishing..." He then pulled out a small pocket knife and started digging it through the book as it squealed in pain before eventually reverting back into an ordinary state. "Why would I want a book that tries to eat you while you read it?" He tossed it over to the side and looked to see if any of the other books were moving. The stillness was neither comforting or truly promising. "Two ways around and a good chance we will be dealing with more graphic novels. This should be interesting"

 • "Why don't we just climb to the shelves to the top, then scoot along?" Zora said, looking towards the top of the bookcases

 • "Hmm... not a bad idea honestly" He took a look at the top and walked over to the side of one. He lifted himself up and put his hand out. "I'd still watch the top shelf, these things can be tricky sometimes"

 • "Hmmrph." Zora grunted, grabbing his hand and pulling herself upwards, placing one foot against a shelf and the jumping upwards. She grabbed up onto a shelf, about several above where Gerald was and looked down. "Try to keep up." She laughed, beginning the ascent upwards towards the top
