His body seemed to freeze in place for a moment, eyes unable to move; but he soon broke out of this trance, a barely noticeable blush on his cheeks. He looked back at the boy, running a hand through his sweat-drenched, shaggy black hair. He was indeed very familiar with the sorrow in Victoria's eyes; he saw it in the Contractees he once lived with. Saw it in the ones he killer. Saw it in himself, every time he looked at his own reflection. He sighed, pondering Victoria's questions.[/i] "...
