"Hello."
[i]A voice said. Though the source of the sound could not be seen. Soon a man standing on the top of the wall appeared into sight, waving. His face was hidden behind the helmet he wore. He slung his sniper rifle over his back.[/i]
"Sorry about that, still had cloak on for some reason. Give me a minute, I'll open the gate."
[i]He jumps down, after few seconds, the gate opens.[/i]

Oh, thank you kindly, sir," [i]The woman slowly enters the dojo, looking around with a great amount of interest before turning her head to look back at the man.[/i] "Piper," [i]She stated her own name introductorily, before extending her let hand. Said hand was slim, soft and relaxed, almost... delicate.[/i]

"Name's Rook, very nice to meet you." [i]Rook pauses for a moment before saying anything.[/i] "So, Piper, what brings you here?"

"Honestly unsure," [i]Piper replied, seemingly genuine.[/i] "I've just been... wandering. No particular reason. This is one of my stops, I guess."

"I would say the same for myself. But, I'm probably not leaving this place for awhile. Used to be part of an army back home, but, that was going all to shit, so I bailed. Found this place, and now I'm here for, most likely the rest of my life."

"Ah. Nice," [i]Piper commented, silently pondering his words. She noticeably didn't state anything about her own background.[/i]

"So, where are you from?" [i]Rook asks calmly.[/i]

"Hm? Oh, Calgary. Canada," [i]She replied without much conviction.[/i]

"Canada, nice." [i]Rook replies as he leans back on the wall.[/i]

"Yeah, it's a nice place. The mountain scenery was great," [i]She said, lost in her memories.[/i]

"Yeah, I had to grow up on farmland most of my life. It was dull and there were plenty of tornados to make you shit your pants when they tore down the house. But, it was peaceful, at least until the war happened."

"A war? What kind of war?"

"Civil. People thought the government was corrupt somehow, we tried to negotiate, but then they got their hands on a very deadly missile, used it to kill thousands upon thousands of citizens. Then, the war started. Still going on."

"Oh, that sucks... is there anything I can do to help?"

"Heh, if you can convince a group of rebels the government isn't a dictatorship and the government a group of rebels aren't terrorists. But really, until one side kills everyone on the other, war will end. Peace isn't an option, there have been three occasions where peace was attempted to be made. But every time, one of the leaders at the peace events is killed, and fighting continues."

"I mean, I can create a lot of explosions," [i]Piper suggested.[/i] "Explosions kill people."

"Ok, now which side do you think is the 'right' side?"
