[b][i][u]A(n) (Re)Introduction[/u][/i][/b]
A loud booming was heard through the lands as a flaming metallic object flew through the sky of Takatai.
The metallic object was quickly realized to be a ship of some sort, perhaps an [i]escape pod.[/i]
The escape pod flew [i]over[/i] the heads of those with in the [i]dojo, [/i]and started escalating downwards more and more.
It finally crashed full, into the Sandy [i]beaches[/i] that separated the great dojo from the ocean and lands far beyond...
A pillar of black smoke went into the air, being seen from the dojo and the village alike, small crowds of people went towards the ship to investigate....

A man wearing shades and a lab coat approaches the pod. From the looks of him, this is the first time he's seen the sun in days. He carefully studies the exterior of the pod.

The hull is scratched and dented from the crash landing, and a hatch led into the interior of the pod
-
Initially ignoring the hatch, the man continues to study the exterior, carefully examining every piece and panel.

The man found a window looking into the pod and saw the shape of a figure sitting in the cockpit. There wasn't much to see on the exterior

The man knocks on the window. "Excuse me, but might I make a few inquiries as to the workings of this vessel?"

The man's figured looked up through the window and said something, though it was muffled.

"First observation: the material of which the screen is made provides excellent sonic insulation." The man returns to the hatch.

There was a metallic rod in the middle of the circular hatch. Presumably to be turned

He reaches for the latch, hesitates, then turns it.

The hatch successfully opened, the hinges causing it to swing inward. The right and left hand walls of the pod were lined with empty seats, and in the front was the cockpit, where a solitary figure sat

"Hello."

Te figure turned it it's seat and glanced at the newcomer with nothing more than a head not and a singular word "Halo."

He considers the accent. "A Russian. Sir, do you speak English?"

"Da.... I English speak." The Man said, trying to pull himself from the chair to no avail

Dmitri showed the man his leg, which was broken

"My questions can wait... For now, at least. First we need to make sure you're not bleeding.". [spoiler]For the record, this character would probably be fluent in six or seven different languages, but I only have the one, and I don't want to have to keep using Google translate.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Yeah, I don't really want to either xD [/spoiler] "Yes... Yes.... I believe wise.... I Dmitri." The man attempted to introduce himself, through his English was butchered

"Alexander Ferro." He tears a shred of cloth from the Dimitri's pant leg and uses it to wrap the wounds. "I could see to the leg myself, but since there are medical professionals not far away, I'll just take you to them." He helps Dimitri to stand on his good leg.

Dmitri managed to get to his feet and the two hobbled their way out of the pod

"I need to ask you a few questions about this vehicle. From the design, I would assume that it is intended to be an escape pod."

"Da... It is correct what you said..." So it [i]was[/i] an escape pod. But from where? How did it wind up here?

"Where did this come from?"

"Russian station... Sent from Earth..." That couldn't be right. Earth was destroyed..

Whether the pod came earth or some other celestial body, the fact that it was capable of interstellar travel is what interests him most. That, and that Dimitri survived its crash landing with injuries that were, given the circumstances, fairly minor. "I'll have to do investigate the pod a bit more, but first I must get you into the hands of those who can tend to your leg." [spoiler]In case you haven't noticed, Alex is more interested by the pod itself than its history or the man inside it. Having never encountered the dojo on Earth, his experience with technology is limited to, well, reality.[/spoiler]
