Looking back at the horde of Contractees – there were about 12 –, he sprinted to the dojo once more, picking up the boy. As the Contractees closed in, he managed to pull open the door and roll, Dark Souls style, into the dojo; a javelin struck the ground where his back was only milliseconds before.
