Preorders and potentially Sales of D2 have potential to suffer based on this. Bungie decided to muddy the water by announcing a so-called "hybrid". Nobody knows if this will be an improvement or not. The question is whether you will blindly believe an improvement has occurred in D2 or WAIT until actual gameplay and actual player feedback occurs prior to purchasing? Bungie doesn't want you to wait. Bungie wants you to throw your money at the screen.
