"Cool! I like islands." His smile never faded.
-
Her smile happy tone faded, "Well, something happened on that island.... it's personal."
-
Nomad's smile faltered ever so slightly. "Oh. Want some company? I could go with you." He asked gentlt.
-
"Yes, but I need your help getting there. I could fly, but if I carry you, I won't have much strength. Do you have an aircraft?" She asked.
-
"I've got something better. JETPACK POWA!" He launched into the air with a gleefull shout.
-
"You think you make it over water?" She asked.
-
"Why not? I never ask that until after I do it!" He did a loop in the air.
-
She spread her orange wings of fire, "Follow me." She flew into the air and went east.
-
Nomad followed, doing lots of acrobaticsa s he did and laughing like a child.
-
After a good hour of flying, they made it to the island. It had a beach, that still had remains of the makeshift boat, the S.S. Fail. The cave in the cliff was still there. "Land in front of the cave!" She called.
-
"Roger roger! Ha ha!" Nomad landed outside the cave.
-
"Running into the cave. Just like I did last time," she muttered. She took Mia's Last Word out of its holester. "Don't complain, Mia," She murmured, "You'll have it back soon."
-
Her companion glanced around. "Nice cave."
-
She set her hand on fire, exploring the cave. It wasn't too deep into the cave before she found Mia's body. It had not rotten yet, which was odd because the corpse has been there a few months. The Hunter just lie there. Arc Blade in one hand, still sparking. The Void Light of a Dusk Bow glowing on her back. The Hunter's eyes were closed, as if she was sleeping, instead of of dead. Sarah reholestered the Last Word. She took off the belt it was holstered on. She put it on her dead sister's waist.
-
Nomad for once in his life remained quiet and watched.

Edited by Splashback77: 5/21/2017 5:39:08 AMShe willed the fire on her hand to go out. She took off ner helmet as her wings of fire spread. Her long golden-brown hair tumbled down her shoulders, She began to cry as the golden aura surrounded her. Sarah began to glow brighter and brighter. Suddenly, both she and Nomad were blinded by the light. When it faded, Sarah collapsed. Mia opened her eyes. She got up. The Hunter got to her feet and pulled her Dusk Bow off her back, She knocked a void anchor and aimed at Nomad, lush green eyes gleaming. "Who are you?"
-
Nomad smiled, seemingly not even fazed by the arrow. "Name's Nomad! Nice to meet you!" He offered a hand to shake.
-
"Why are you here?" Mia asked. She looked to Sarah, who was collapsed, "And what did you do to my sister?!" Her braid that was normally in the back was in front of her shoulder. Her eyes shot an, Tell me or I kill you look.
-
"She brought me hear, gave you a belt, then got really shining and you woke up." He replied, still smiling. "We should check her pulse."
-
"You're right," Mia said. She put the Dusk Bow on her back. "She has a pulse... but where's her Ghost?" She muttered. Mia looked to Nomad, "We need a way off the island."
-
"Wellp, my jetpack is put of fuel, so unless you want to make a raft, we're stuck until my clan shows up."
-
"The waves are too choppy, we'll have to wait," Mia said. She picks up the unconscious Warlock.
-
"Ok. Or I can look for fuel." He offered.
-
"I have no idea what fuels your jetpack," Mia said.
-
"Rocket fuel! I'll go look around."
