Marker and Carly had left the room, leaving Cylus to either look around or go straight out

Eager to try out his new suit, Cylus took little interest in his surroundings.Locking his helmet in place and putting his hood up, he walked outside and met with Marker and Carly who were waiting for him. "How do I look?" he asked.

"Like an Assassin." Carly said, going back into the safe house "Give it a try." Marker said, gesturing to the surprisingly empty dojo courtyard.

"With pleasure." Cylus says, jumping into the air. With the boost of speed and thrust, he flew higher into the air than ever before. The armor was light as ever and it moved incredibly well. He grappled to the floor and slammed down on the ground, feeling the shock absorbed into his boots. "Damn this feels good." he breathes

"Along with the grappling, you can "phase run" by entering a separate dimension for a few, very short moments. This let's you get away from danger and gives you time to get back in the game. "

"Just like you did in my test." Cylus says. "How does it work?"

"Alright, it's a bit simple. Just squeeze your right and left fist at the same time, release, than squeeze again."

Cylus acted on Marker's instruction and just as promised, he seemed to disappear. Now he has to figure out how to come back.

It wasn't something he had to do, he felt his insides twist for a moment as he reappeared several seconds later

"Woah." Cylus stuttered as he reappeared. He looked up at his hands in disbelief. "That's some pretty cool tech you have here." he says, smiling. "My only guess is that it requires more juice than we can carry, correct?" ... "My partner used to dabble in nanotech, which included making the power source for my original suit. I picked up a couple things, so if it ever comes in handy I'm here to help."

"Woah Woah Woah. What exactly do you mean by that?" Carly said, stiffening up as if excited

"Well my partner was more of the technical one, but she made sure I knew how yo handle it in case of emergency. Before the ... accident, we were working on nanotech for our suits. We had just figured out how to create manipulatavle microbots that could take on any form we programmed it to." Cylus says, he gestures to his wrist grapples. "That's how my grapples work, tons of tiny microbots programmed to stick and hold onto any surface. We had bigger plans, but realized we would need a more sufficient power source. That's where we started making the arc reactor. A tiny implant you can add to any suit, power full enough to supply energy for days, or even months. I've been working on it and a couple side projects at home. It's some pretty advanced stuff."

"Well, you're welcome to use any of our technology to help your project. And ask around for some of our scientists, maybe they could help you." Marker said, nodding his head in approval

"Sounds good, thanks." Cylus responds, and then turns to Carly. "I'll make sure to keep you updated."

"Updated? No, no. I'm coming with you!!" Carly said excitedly "We'll go to a research facility or something of the sorts." [spoiler]-Accept Carly's request -Turn her request down[/spoiler]

[spoiler]accept[/spoiler] "Sure, if it means I can finally get this work done. I'll have to grab my case from my place first though."

"Alright, I'll get a ship ready. Meet me in front of the dojo gates in half an hour, alright?"

"No problem, I'll get right to it." he says. Cylus departs, hurrying to his bunk. Once he arrives, he grabs his work case and makes his way to the dojo gates where Marker and Carly were waiting.

Outside of the Gates, was a squadron of Militia Grunts, two pilots and Carly. It didn't seem as though Marker would be joining them. "Hey, Cylus." Carly said, pointing towards a small dropship "That's our ride to a battleship outside the planet's atmosphere."

"Cool, never been in a spaceship before. I kind of got here through some sort of portal. But hey, there is a first time for everything." Cylus says. He excitedly walks to the ship. "What are all the grunts for?" Cylus asks. "Escort?"

"Yeah, escort. Let's go with that, think that fits." Carly said as the squad suited up

"Why do I get the feeling that this won't be an ordinary "trip to the battleship?"" Cylus asks, climbing aboard.

"Well... The trip itself Is simple. But uh... The station we're going to is currently on the very outskirts of our controlled space. So, we're subject to be attacked by IMC." Carly said. The group boarded the dropship, and fired off into the sky, towards space

"Well there would be no better time to test out the new suit," Cylus says, motioning to his belt, armed with weaponry. "And I always come prepared."

"It's probably not going to happen, but you can never be too sure." She said as the dropship exited the atmosphere, docking with the Militia battleship

"Well in that case, lead the way." Cylus says.
