[b][u]A cafe in dojoville
4:00 PM[/u][/b]
[i]Cornelia sat at a table outside of the cafe, drinking a cup of tea. She also had a phone out, surfing the internet with it. While she sipped on the tea, she occasionally looked around, observing her surroundings with a subtle preparedness to her. This wasn't for nothing though. Eventually, a rough looking strolling down the sidewalk walked into a store across the street. Soon enough, screaming could be heard inside the store and there was gunfire. It was being robbed. She put down her tea and put her phone in her pocket, running across the street to the store.
Upon entering, it was much louder and the robber noticed her enter he turned to her and noticed a blue glow exit her body. He yelled at her.[/i]
"Stop right there! Don't move!"
[i]In the background, she could see a crying store clerk emptying the cash register. Cornelia stayed still and watched for a brief moment while pointed the gun at her. A sudden shock rattled the gun and he lost aim. Cornelia quickly drew her gun and pointed it at him while the cyber ghost suddenly appeared in front of him, warping his vision of Cornelia while she moved. He shot a couple rounds immediately, but he could not see and missed. Cornelia fired back with precision, hitting him square in the chest three times with her handgun. He stood with a look of surprise before falling to the ground, dead. The cyber ghost entered back into her and she waved to the store clerk and everyone else as she exited.
Cornelia walked back to the cafe and sat down, finishing her tea like nothing happened. She grabbed out her phone and started surfing the web again. [/i]

"How interesting. I have something similar, except I talk for it, not the other way around." [b]The cyber ghost exited her body and stood beside her. It looked like her except with a mask, and a transparent turquoise green color. It waved silently.[/b]

[b]The small AI waves back.[/b] [i]So, what is it specifically? Is it just an AI like me? Or, something totally different? Well, it is nice to meet you.[/i]

"It's an AI, just mostly a hologram." [b]The ghost entered back into Cornelia.[/b] "Not very social though."

[i]So, did you find it, or did it find you? I'm sorry, it's just, I'm very curious.[/i] [b]The small AI sounds very interested. Jackal simply watches in the background, almost looking amused at how much his AI is talking.[/b]

"Well... neither, I helped create it, and I wasn't supposed to keep it, but here we are..." [b]She held out a hand and the ghost hand came beside it, giving a high five.[/b]

[i]Wasn't supposed to keep it? Huh, guess that sucks for whoever was supposed to recive it. Or, thing, that was supposed to. So, was it meant for military? Or, some random paying thousands of dollars for it?[/i] [b]Jackal mearly shakes his head, but seems to be laughing a bit.[/b]

"It was an experiment, too complicated to mass produce, but I like to keep it around, makes good company."

[i]Why would someone mass produce? Whoever tried to do that must be dumb, mass production has never really worked properly anywhere, corners are always cut, and with AI, their functions would be very inefficient.[/i]

"Which is why it was an experiment, no one really anticipated it working at all really."

[i]I guess, but, to me it seems AIs can't be mass produced. They should be specifically designed for the person using said AI. [/i]

"Yea, I added a few personal quirks to this one for myself."

"Nice shooting there." Commented a male voice. Sitting nearby was a tall, heavily built man. He was wearing camouflaged pants and a grey shirt labeled UNSC. His skin was unnaturally pale.

[b]Cornelia looked him over for a moment, then replied with a smile. Her voice was soft and had an Italian accent.[/b] "Thank you... who are you, though?"

"I'm nobody important." He replied, his face not showing any real emotion aside from a slight smile. His voice was a bit gravelly, like he wasn't used to talking, or perhaps shouted a lot when he was younger. He has no accent. "Just a visitor."

"Now that..." He replied with a slight smirk. "Is not information I freely give out to strangers."

"Hm, how disappointing, I was really looking forward to getting to know a fellow soldier."

"So that's how you learned to shoot." He noted. "What military do you report from?"

"That is information I don't give out freely to strangers. I'm sure you understand, nameless friend." [b]She grinned at him while she said that.[/b]

He gave a short laugh. "Touche. Unfortunately my name is classified information that even I barely remember."

"And why would that be? From the looks of it, you seem pretty ordinary..."

He raised an eyebrow. "Really? Huh. Never thought I'd hear that." He took a sip from his coffee. "Blame ONI. I'm not allowed to share my name."

"I'm afraid I don't know who that is. Although I'm sure they wouldn't mind if one person knew..."

He shrugged. "You can call me Spartan if you want. Or One."

"Well nice to meet you, Spartan, I'm Cornelia Mara." [b]She put out a hand to shake.[/b]
