Repairing the Jumpships
1500, Cosmodrone, Old Russia
Sarah helping a Hunter repair and mod his Phaeton.
"Hey, can you hand me a wrench?" She asked.
"Don't you have some form of The Force or some bulls**t like that?" He asked.
She rolled out from under the Phaeton. Her face was grease stained. She wasn't wearing her usual Warlock robes. She was wearing an oil stained, white spaghetti strap tank top. She wore camoflauge cargo pants.
"The proper phrase for some form of The Force is Force Sensitivity. I guess in a nutshell you could say I do. But right now, if I move anything heavier than 50 pounds I'll get a headache. Plus I'm kinda saving my energy. So hand me the wrench and I'll finish the mods you requested," she explained.
The Hunter grunted. He handed her the wrench. She rolled back under the Phaeton, installing the stealth drive he'd requested.

-
"I 'ave a hard time believing that." He smirks.
-
"It was kinda rare.... I will admit that."
-
He laughs, ending the hug. He then frowns, looking more serious. "I feel like I'm havin more an more... Moments. Like I'm slowly slipping."
-
"Then I'll hold on to you," Sarah reassured.
-
"I hope tha'll be enough. E'er since JJ stabbed me it's been gettin worse..."
-
"If only I could tranfuse my specific light type to you permanently."
-
He raises an eyebrow. "Wouldn't that... Kill you?"
-
"I wouldn't tranfuse all of it. Small portion would work well. After all, after each drainage, it only regenerates and becomes stronger and brighter. I'm the only guardian with Light that acts this way..."
-
"Oh." Finn replies. "Finn's head hasn't been right since he was stabbed. The damage left a... Scar I guess... On his light."

-
"If only I could help him..." She sighed.
-
"I don' think I can be helped..." Finn replies. "He's technically mentally handicapped. A cripple." Wisp adds, making the Hunter flinch and stare at the ground.

Edited by Splashback77: 5/11/2017 3:13:14 AM"Sometimes, I never focus.... literally I do a lot without thinking. It's lead to lots of regrets."
-
"Yes, but you're not mentally damaged like him. He's likely to slowly lose it until he goes brain dead. His days are numbered." Wisp says. Finn sighs.
-
"I will save him somehow...." Sarah says.
-
"Sarah... Love... I don' think I can be saved." Finn says, his voice quiet.
-
She lost it. Right then and there. Her will to live was gone. She hid that very fact. The Warlock fell silent.
-
Finn reached up to take her hand. "Well... It might not kill him." Wisp says. "I've been working on possible ways to help him. There are a couple possibilities."
-
She just silently nodded. An unreadable expression was permanently pasted on her face.
-
"Sarah?" His voice is worried as he holds her hand.
-
Sarah let go of his hand. And she ran. She would never be the same. She hid away in a corner, and cried.
-
He tried to run after her. "Sarah?! Wait! Come back!" When he couldn't find her he dropped to his knees. He felt so bad he was actually physically sick inside.
-
He hears a faint sound of crying in the distance.
-
He quickly follows the sound, looking frantically for her.
