[b]Haknir entered the store in more civilian dress, but still wielding his scimitars, and looked around before walking up to the counter. He looked at the TV and then back at the man.[/b]
"Some strange murders these are, huh?"

"Sure are," [i]The man said without hesitation, his voice smooth and cheerful; however it hid a dark undertone, one of emptiness, and not caring.[/i] "Random killings like these are really strange. Makes you wonder what the killer's thinking, to kill random innocents. What would you like today?"

"Maybe they're just crazy... anyway, what kind of food do you serve?"

"Fast food," [i]The man responded, gesturing towards the electric menu above him. There were all sorts of things; burgers, fries, hash browns, pancakes, desserts, coffee, soda, you name it.[/i]

"Hm... I'll have a double cheeseburger then... and a Coke."

"Comin' right up." [i]The man went into the restaurant's store room, and came back with the requested items. He set them down beside the cash register, inputting some numbers.[/i] "And that'll be $6.34, please."

[b]Hak opened a bag on his side and pulled out a small bit of cash from it to hand over. There was obviously much more inside.[/b] "There you go." [b]He grabbed the food and sat down nearby, eating and watching the TV.[/b]

[i]The TV went on about more information on Abigail Williams, the murdered woman. Eventually, a supposed witness told the news reporter that when they were getting out of bed for the bathroom, they saw a strange brown-haired man enter their neighbor's house. Meanwhile, the man placed the money into the cash register, paying no mind to the television.[/i]

[b]Haknir, with a little bit of food still in his mouth, looked up and said out loud,[/b] "Wow, this guy must be a freak. Boss will probably take care of him..."

[i]Finally, the man looked up from the register, to the television. After a moment of silence, he looked away again.[/i] "Boss?" [i]He questioned, before taking another customer's order.[/i]

[b]Hak looked over to him.[/b] "Matthew Sandello, the local uh... 'businessman' around here. He doesn't like it if people start killing his clients."
