"I came to speak with you. Don't think we ever finished our conversation." Royal said, with a small smile

"I...already have, Royal!!!" She yelled at him. She was still so stubborn as she turned around the corner of the building.

"NOT THE FULL THING. YOU ALWAYS END THE CONVERSATION. Please, just listen to me fully. I'm begging you!" Royal pleaded with Lilly, moving across the ledge at a quicker pace

"So you can ramble on and tell m-me how my family hates me?! No! Royal! Go away!" She yelled from around the corner. As royal made his way to her side of the building, he saw she stopped in the middle of it.

"THEY DON'T HATE YOU! Alright? I just wanted to tell you... I might not be Alex, and I might not know you as well as others. But you can talk to me. Really that's all." Royal said, slowing down

Lilly looked off the building. She seemed to take in what Royal was saying as she did so. "Royal...have you lost any of your family?" The princess asked him.

"Yeah actually, I have. I lost my son a long time ago." Roy said, stopping slowly

"What...what did you do after wards?" She asked him now.

"I drunk. I completely broke down. I drank away my problems, my feelings, I became numb to myself. To everything. But when I finally talked to someone, I was able to get back on my feet."

Lilly looked off the building. Then looked to Royal. "I...I understand." She said softly. "Then there's something I need to do! See you, Royal!" Lilly suddenly told him as she leapt off the edge of the building and out of the man's reach.

"LILLY!" Roy screamed, looking down to see where the young girl went

Then, he saw her. She seemed to generate some form of ice rod in her hand as she ziplined down a power line that connected to the roof of a far away building. She zipped through the streets and rolled atop a roof. Royal hardly had time to react before he girl threw something at the line, which severed it completely. The girl was too far away now, and she sprinted away. Lilly got away.... [spoiler]End of chapter 17 [/spoiler]
