[i]Within an Hour of the Dojo[/i]
[b]Sunrise[/b]

The Captain of the [REDACTED] reinforcements sat, watching his heavily armoured underling construct the newest Artillery Cannon. This one had trees and shrubbery as coverage, making it harder to spot.
[u]1 Hour Later[/u]
As the new troops laid the finishing touches on the Cannon, the captain nodded in approval.
[i]"Alright, load in a hellfire shell,"[/i] He said, gesturing to an ammunition crate.
"Right away, sir," They said obediently, sliding the shell into the loading chamber. "Locked and loaded."
[i]"Well... Let's give 'em the ol' wake up call."[/i]
"Already-" A HIGH-EX round splattered the inquisitive man's brain across the mud and grass.
[i]"Disobedience will not be tolerated. NOW HOP TO IT!"[/i]
[u]At the Dojo[/u]
A man with a sword across his back sat at the gate, a joint in his mouth. He had a cat laying against his leg, who petted quietly. The cat's ears perked up, and it shot up, before dashing out of sight, hissing. The guard didn't even have time to wonder what was going on before he was turned into red paste within a 10'x10' crate.
Several of the secondary bombs spread across the Dojo, some hitting the wall, others hitting houses. All had the same result.
[u]Back at the Cannon.[/u]
[i]"Damn good shootin', Travis."[/i]
[b]"Thanks, sir."[/b]
They began loading in an incendiary shell, aiming down at the Dojo once more.

[i]the forest around them seemed to come to life around them as a lone wolf's howl is heard echoing through the woods. It also seemed to grow even colder as a uneasy silence fell over forest. It seemed like the very woods around them seemed angry with them being there. But before they could even fathom what was happening. The nearby trees groaned as the ground around the trees shuddered violently. As the started to pull themselves from the very ground. Then a voice echoes clearly through their minds and it sound very anger. -you do not belong here human leave now you have been warned- Just then the same howl is heard but all around them this time as the trees slowly lumbered towards the men. -you shouldnt of come here humans- The forest around them was starting to come to life more and more like something or someone was controlling them. Its was slowly becoming worse as spiders of every size and shape started to rain down from the trees on to the men. It was clear the very woods themselves was against them.[/i]

Their force field protected them. One of them grabbed a [REDACTED] tech Flamethrower and began to douse the spiders in flames and death.

As the very ground beneath their feet shuddered violently as the ground started to give way beneath them as massive vines burst from ground aggressively. They continued to grow into a massive sentient plant that sprouted several pods that burst open releasing a thick cloud of toxic spores blanketing everything in it. The biggest pod sprouted revealing a carnivorous flower with rows dangerous teeth. It quickly grabs snags several of the men regardless of their force field. The voice echos through their minds again. Its sounds very angry now. -you have been warned humans the forest will show you no mercy nor will creature that dwell here.. your fate is sealed- Another howl is heard that is quickly answered by a louder roar that sounds very angry. -lets see how long you fools will last-[/i] [spoiler]the spores cause them see things that aren't there. It also cause temporary blindness as well as severe burning when inhaled. This last about four hours.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]The force field is essentially a giant bubble. Out of ground and under ground.[/spoiler] The shield protected them against Mother Nature's wrath. They all grabbed high tech weaponry and unloaded upon their attackers.

[spoiler]can ghost pass through it?[/spoiler] [i]the plant seemed smart enough to figure out that its attacks aren't working. It slowly wraps itself around the force sealing them inside as it's attacked hardly slowly his advance.[/i]

[spoiler]idk never thought about it[/spoiler] The shield seemed to take heavy damage from brute force and high concentration attacks.

[i]the vines continue their assault on the force field squeezing tighter around it. Then something quite large can be heard pacing around the outside of force field snarling viciously hidden from view. Then out of nowhere a large ghost like shadow of a giant solid black wolf four times the size of a normal one with glowing red eyes appears outside of the forcefield staring at them. Its baring its fangs at them while growling aggressively at them while starting to walk through forcefield unhindered. -you shouldnt of come here human- It then lunges grabbing holding of the closest one biting into the man's shoulder with its massive jaws sinking in its large fangs tearing into soft flesh and breaking bones. -you should of just left when given the chance foolish humans- It's clear now that this is what has been speaking to them. Its outrage very clear as it drop the first man it bit before slowing advanced on the others they didn't realize it but they had nowhere to go. [/i] [spoiler]well here's the ghost lol[/spoiler]

They activated their personal shields and dropped several EMP devices to disrupt the ghost's hold on reality. The began shooting at the ghost with their high tech weaponry.

[i]the ghost's bodies flickers but doesn't disappear but it forced it take on a physical form but doesn't sustain very much damage as it's already dead. Its still goes after them with absolute hatred towards them.[/i]

One of them drew a shotgun, blasting the physical form's head into puddy, rendering the body useless. The EMP kept blasting the ghost out of reality

[i]its body continues to flicker as it fades in and out. As it fights to stay in this existence. Its clear that the wolf has a strong hold on this plain for unknown reason. But it looks like its not alone at all as something nearby unleashes a earsplitting shriek that cause great pain when heard. The wolf disappears before saying one more thing. -fools my body may fade but i have my own share of tricks humans. Lets see how you handle them- The shriek continues getting unbearable loud. What was cause this horrible noise was the form of a pair of two head birds hiding from view. Unleashing their maddening song that only causes severe pain to all that hear their song. It was clear the forest wasn't done with them just yet as more vines started to grow from the bigger form of vines. One of them whips at the legs of men force field or not it was still going to attack them with absolute aggression. [/i]

Their helmets channeled out the sounds, as they began to use flamethrowers to burn down every plant, tree, and bush in sight. Nothing would survive this, they hoped.

[b]All seemed fine for the crew stationed near the cannon. But in a matter of seconds a flash bang flew in near their feet, it went off and Jackal began to fire a slew of bullets at the ones who were blinded.[/b]

Their forcefield shielded them well from the flash bang. As for the bullets, they pelted into the field, minimally wearing it down. One of the soldiers raised a [REDACTED] tech Railgun and fired a rod of hot tungsten at Jackal's right kneecap at impossibly high speeds.

[b]Jackal only lets off a grunt. Next, a shield forms, the shot hits the shield, it breaks. The shot sends him a few feet back, he gets up, the shield blocked the damage, but used up most of the power in his suit.[/b] [i]Take cover.[/i] [b]Jackal dives to the right, reloading his rifle waiting for the next move.[/b]

A thermite was lobbed at his feet, a red LED flashing on and off rapidly. It then detonated, hurling fire in every direction.

[i]Armor is fine, but won't hold.[/i] [b]Jackal takes off, brushing some of the flames off. He takes cover again, but hops over, firing a single rocket at the group.[/b]

The forcefield shattered, leaving them open to attack. The railgun blasted at his center mass as his attacked, the tungsten rod screeching through the air at around 1k mph.

[b]Jackal gets hit, he sent flying back. He lands on his back, struggling to get up. His armor can be seen pulsing with electricity.[/b] [i]A-a-ar-m-mor fail-ure, v-vitals critical. [/i]

They lit him up with assault rifles, aiming for the area affected by the rail gun.

[b]Jackal tries to form a shield in front, it barely holds before breaking. He gets hit multiple time. He crawls to cover, clenching the wounds on his chest.[/b] [i]Stick to t-the plan.[/i]

Three grenades are lobbed at his cover, all detonating after five seconds.

[i]Now![/i] [b]Jackal hits a button and the grenades go off. It seems he may be dead, but at the moment, it seems too quiet.[/b]

They lobbed a thermite at his body, the detonation caking him in flame and shrapnel. "He dead?" [u]"Don't be so sure."[/u]

[b]Near the rock, Jackals magnum can be seen hitting the ground next to his cover, but his body isn't seen.[/b]
