While both seemed fairly skilled in their own right luck seemed to yield in the Vikings favor as they managed to push through the ranks. Eventually they managed to bring the fight in their favor and conquered for the time being.
"Well then, that could have gone either way. Still, if you want to borrow the watch and look at that point in time you wouldn't be dissapointed. You might even get to see the lord of darkness himself"

"Not to worry, I offered" He went to take a sip of his water then notice it was empty and restored it with more. He looked at the wound up pocket watch that to an ordinary person would be considered broken as it did not move. "Besides I've been there so many times I know it all by heart."

He handed her the watch and it didn't seem broken. Only temporally out of place. Seemingly as if was paused when it was outside of its timeline. "It should start up whenever you get near its timeline. It's like a record waiting to be placed on a record player."

"Huh... Thanks" She said, the watch being put away in her pocket

Gerald laughed a little bit at the irony. "I win the bet and still end up giving out the prize. I would make a terrible gambler wouldn't I?"

"Not all gambler's win you know." Zora said, laughing slightly as well

"Ah well. I'll have to go back to Castlevania some time again. Perhaps in the 1470s when the devil forge masters were still relevant. Very interesting abilities in that Era."

"I personally find the Salem witch trials extremely interesting. I've met many a Mage in that time."

"So there was some hiding in the midst! I thought there was but I was never quite sure since they were hiding in plain sight."

"Extremely talented with the hole hiding thing. Some of them actually survived the trials. There even could be a bloodline still out there."

"Perhaps. I could be an interesting search" He said closing the timeline he was using for his game. He finished his glass and had it vanish in time while he thought on the subject.
