A massive wall of ice rose upwards directly in front of Ite, its purpose to block the projectiles fired towards him. "Ice huh? I guess this is sort of a contest. Who is the best at using cold masses of water?" Ite drew his revolver, and realized what he had forgotten. He emptied the gun at lightning speed, and with each trigger pull, a blast of confetti. "I don't suppose you're afraid of party supplies, are you?"

  • Cain smashed through the ice wall with his steed, and he was upon Ite now as it shattered. He then ran past him, but not before he slashed across his chest with his lance....

  • The gouged out a small portion of his chest, yet very little blood spilled from his wound. Such a slash would cause anyone to fall back, and Ite was no exception to this rule. But as he fell, his scythe had outstretched, placing itself in a position high up on the horse as it would pass.

  • The scythe cut the horse, and it stumbled a bit. Yet, it still rode. Cain then turned the beast around and he raised his spear as two more ice crystals flew at Ite.

  • Ite looked up, seeing the massive flaming dome now not quite as an obstacle, but as an asset. He again rose an ice wall, and preparing for the next charge, puts his back as close as he can bear to the edge of the arena.

  • This line of action may have worked in a different situation, but that was not this one. Since Cain was behind Ite, all he did was trap himself in with the warrior. Cain twirled his spear incredibly quick and carried the momentum through as he hit Ite in the chest with the shaft of the spear, which sent him flying through the ice wall and made him crash on the ground.

  • The spear pierced deep next to one of Ite's lungs. The direct crash against the ice wall cut up a good deal of his back, which soon would become scars. Ite decided to do the maneuver correctly this time, putting his back to the flame wall to face the charging knight. "Your horse looks pretty unhealthy, almost like a bag of bones!" The insult made Ite feel a bit better, but not by much. Up rose a third ice wall, and was a bit sad to look at, just as one is distressed at the hearing of an overused joke. However this time would be different. Ite layer down in the snow, encasing him in a slick ice to hide once Cain came charging.

  • Ite couldn't see past this wall, but he heard the hoofs of the horse and the spurs of the knight riding it. Suddenly, the Ice wall was shattered as Cain broke through with his Lance and steed....

  • Ite punched upward with his right hand as Cain's steed rode over head, and casted out a massive spear of living wood. The spear aimed directly at the spine of the horse.

Cain didn't expect the sudden attack, and did what he could to protect his steed as the spear flew at it. He grabbed the wooden spear Ite had thrown, but half of its head impaled the horse. The horse cried out again as Cain quickly tore the spear out and tossed it to the side. Cain continue to ride until he was past the intersection of the streets, which put a distance between him and Ite. He raised his spear on top of his head again, by this time, a massive icicle formed on top of him. It was the size of him as well as his steed combined, and as he aimed his spear at Ite the massive icicle flew towards him and spiralled as it picked up speed every second.

Ite slammed his gauntlet into the ground and created a gnarly tower of wood, launching himself upwards, and toward Cain. He landed with great velocity on the over sized icicle, sliding up the side to ready himself for some airborne assault.

  • As he prepared, he received a different form of attack. One much more deadly. Cain threw his spear at Ite as he clambered on to his magic attack, and the spear spiralled through the air in an arc that went straight towards Ite at and incredibly speed. However, it gave him enough time to react. That being said, the magic attack he was on continued to spin, which meant his feet were in a constant state of keeping him on it....

Ite dodged to the side of the icicle, the spear shearing the flesh off of his right arm at the bicep. It was a debilitating injury for the limb, but he would be able to press on. Channeling the magic held for the aerial attack instead toward the ground would have to do. It would no longer be an attack from above. Instead, it would provide velocity for a decisive strike from the ground. After Ite launched forth, he slid toward Cain. The ground froze as he slipped forward, prepared to slash the now defenseless steed of Cain's legs. A slash to the knees would surely put it out of commission. Finally it would be a fair fight.

Cain tried to swipe at Ite vainly with his foot, as well as the to ride out of the way, but Ite was already on him. He cut across the steeds legs, and the horse began to run panicked ahead into the intersection. Then, it stumbled and lay down on its legs. Cain got off his steed as it rested, and he picked up his spear that was beside him. "I'm sorry, Anjelica my friend. We will see each other soon." He told his steed as he suddenly thrusted his spear through its body. It let out a cry as it went limp, but something happened here. The flames from the horse moved up the lance and towards Cain. Cain, then was imbued with blue flame and was on fire. Yet it did not harm him. Then, he reached into Anjelica, and then drew out a massive greatsword. The greatsword was edged and curved in a fascinating way. Ite realized, that this blade looked just like Alex's infinite blade, except it had no holes on its blade. It was massive, almost the size of Cain even. It was ice blue, then lit on fire. And Cain held it steadily in his left hand. Cain walked to the middle of the intersection and stared at Ite. That was when Ite realized... The battle had only begun.

  • Ite breathed in deeply, ice creeped up his body and refilled the chunks of torso and arm he missed. He kept his scythe in two hands, ready for an onslaught of strikes. He widened his stance, waiting to see what his opponent's new form was capable of.

  • Cain began to slowly walk forward, then, he began to spin his spear in his right hand. It got faster and faster and faster as the spear spun like a helicopter blade. That was on fire. He continued to walk slowly towards Ite, but was not in range yet.

  • Ite backed away slowly. While he backpedalled, large piles of snow formed by his side until they were double the height of Cain. The snow piled then began expanding toward Cain, seemingly trying to surround him. Ite pulled out a revolver, properly loaded this time, and slowly fired at Cain to try to keep his attention.

  • The snow, however, began to melt. Fast. The blue flames seemed to allow Cain to walk past the snow without resistance, and the bullets Ite fired were hit and deflected by the spear. Some bullets hit Cains armour, but he still walked forward easily as the bullets fell to the ground. He continued his walk, and Ite realized soon that his back was against the fire wall...

  • Ite knew it had come down to close quarters combat. Traps would be near impossible to set up now. Unless the trap was close quarters combat. Ite flourished his right hand over one scythe blade, then his left. It began to gleam a teal pearlescent; small seeds dotted along the blade. Ite walked away from the flame barrier, toward Cain.

  • Cain stopped the turning of his spear as he began to run at Ite. His greatsword was behind him in his left hand as his spear arm was bent for the strike.

  • Ite held his scythe in his right hand, and on his left appeared a great shield of thick ice. Inside was held a skeleton of wooden branches, apparently to reinforce the structure of the shield. He spun the scythe around, the side that had been modified took its place behind him. The untampered side was set up and askew as Ite positioned his shield in front of himself.

  • That didn't stop Cain however from rushing at Ite as both his weapons ignited in flame. He spun his body around as he swung his massive greatsword around his body and followed through on Ite's shield as he cut at its side. The Greatsword cleaved trough to top of the shield and shattered its top, and the tip of the blade grazed Ite's arm.

  • The cut dipped into Ite's arm, causing a good bit of pain. But he never expected the shield to work in the first place. He figured Cain would've charged in, just as any other bull of a man would. The great spinning slash gave him a great bit of speed. Turning with the strike allowed him to speed up, and in with that speed, he took the back end of the blade and slashed at Cain's upper body.

  • However, Cain proved to be formidable here as well. His left foot spread out as he held his ground as his greatsword fell back behind him as he brought his spear up to meet the scythe that cut at him. He brought the spear under the scythes blade so It was in between him and Ite, where he then quickly bashed to his right and redirected the scythes blow so it only struck the air to the right of Cain.

  • Ite stepped forward with his left foot, closing the distance between his now open left hand and Cain's similarly open chest. He punched at Cain's breastplate, and used the last of his magic to attempt to freeze his hand against Cain's armor. Ite also shifted his feet, planting them in the ground. It wouldn't provide much defense, but it could possibly keep him from falling over.

  • Cain looked down at Ite's hand for a moment as it touched his armour. Ice seemed to form, but not much. With that, he dragged his sword from behind him and slashed at Ite with a wicked upwards slash.
