"That's a shame. Because I... Well I need to see her...." Royal said, lowering his arms awkwardly
English
-
"I assumed so." Joseph said as he let out a breath. "But you know very well, that Lord Tywin wouldn't allow that. Right? I'd have to kill you. He had strict orders. Kill any dojo member on sight. Currently, we're all disobeying him by having you still breathing right now...."
-
"Dojo member? Oh you probably haven't heard. I left the dojo a month ago, after Alex's death. Gave that life up." Royal said, frowning
-
Jospeh looked at Royal with disbelief. "C'mon now royal. Are you REALLY gunna try that one?" He asked him. Jospeh didn't believe Royals lie. Which would make things difficult for the sensei if he were to get in to see Lilly.
-
"Ask around. I wasn't in the dojo at all last month. In fact, due to my absence Falk had to step in as sensei. You know Falk I'm assuming. Plus, if I was around than I would've been here sooner. And one of the Coldlosers would he fúcking Dead."
-
The guards raised their weapons on Royal due to his threat. Jospeh sighed as he looked at him. "Royal. We know what happened. Prince Felix sent you all a month into the future. He told the army that himself." He told Royal. "Whether it was to inform us or break some people's hope, I don't know. But the Coldbourne army already knows that."
-
"Bam! See I was telling the truth. I wasn't around. Therfore, not a dojo member..." Royal said, throwing his hands into the air
-
Jospeh couldn't help but chuckle at Royal. Quite frankly, royal was surprised the group hadn't opened fire on him right now. "Alright, Royal. I get it. You need to see Lilly. But...why? What do you want to get out of it? You didn't bring any weapons with you. So you aren't here to harm her...right?"
-
"No. The way I see it, putting... Politely." He said, glancing at the guards around him. "Lilly is the most kind hearted of the Coldbourne family. The youngest. She doesn't deserve to be going through this. Seeing her own brother get murdered in front of eyes. Really does something to a kid. My first goal is to make sure she's okay. Hence the no weapon policy." Royal said, throwing some jazz hands. "My secondary goal. Well that's not exactly something I can divulge. Since I don't trust any of you. No offense to you, Joseph. But you're Coldbourne now."
-
"I understand, Roy, and I agree full heartedly. She did not deserve what happened, and we know what she is going through. She's...very vulnerable, Royal." Joseph said to him. "But...Maybe, just maybe you can help her. She hasn't talked to anyone from that day since it happened. Tywin sent her out here almost immediately. And...well she puts on a good face for the people of this place. Which is incredibly selfless. But...when she's in the castle. That's a different story. So, this is what I'm going to do, Royal. Me and my men will take you to Lilly. If you try anything, we won't hesitate to put a bullet in your back. You hear me?"
-
"Loud and clear, you're the boss. Just like old times eh?" Royal said, grinning widely
-
"Times have changed Roy. Don't forget that." Jospeh told him as he drew his gun. "Now go on. Make your way up the steps and across the courtyard.
-
"Times have changed..." Royal said, as he walked past Joseph and stopped for a very brief moment. "But they'll change back..." Was all he said, before following the instructions given to him
-
"Hmm. We'll see." Joseph said as he waved his gun and indicated for Roy to move to the courtyard. Four guards followed Roy which excluded Joseph who walked beside him.
-
"How far gone are you, Joseph?" Royal asked his friend quietly, walking at a slight slower pace then walking
-
"Gone? What is that supposed to mean?" Joseph asked Roy. He seemed rather insulted by the comment.
-
"I mean, how many have you lost! Ya dingus. How far did you get before you decided this was your best course of action." Royal said, looking over his shoulder
-
"Royal. That's just it." Jospeh stopped Roy and turned to him. "Because of the Coldbourne's, I didn't lose a single damned man taking this place."
-
"No. Not taking this place. How many of your men were executed?! Because I remember when your men would have laid their lives down to combat a tyrant. What was his name? Cockhole?" Royal said, eyeing Joseph for a reaction He hated to be doing this, truly. But maybe, just maybe, if Royal could figure out just how trustworthy Joseph would be...
-
"Do not even compare the princess with that...monster." Jospeh said to Roy. He was serious now. The entire group stopped moving. "Here are the facts Roy. I joined the infinite corp along with my army under the promise that we could liberate our home. The F.D never did that. You know who did though? Tywin Coldbourne and his daughter. Quite frankly, they've done nothing to harm us. They've only helped us. So not a single one of us was executed." He told Roy firmly.

Edited by Royal Blade: 4/19/2017 2:49:04 AM"Want to hear something, Joseph? Alex, or Fierce Deity, and I were going to take action for you. We were gathering up and army to combat people like Cockhorn. You know what happened to him? You know. He was stabbed. So let me ask you this. How were we supposed to help. When I was gone, and Alex was dead?" Royal stared at Joseph would a cold, unrelenting look. "You don't grasp what they did do you? They wandered in like they owned the place. Took Alex's ideas, his goals. And claimed them! And then, they gave the scraps to the one who didn't have the heart to let him go. Lilly." His face dropped, and his eyes turned to those of sadness. "They gave the scraps to the runt of the pack. After her family betrayed her, her brother. She didn't let any of you die, because she wanted Alex's memory to live!" Royal said, looking back up at Joseph.
-
"...Do you want to see her or not?" Jospeh said after a moment of silence. He wasn't willing to argue Roy's point from his response. But, something was shaken in him. Roy could see that much.
-
"...That's why I'm here." Roy said, with a small sigh as he begun walking once more
-
The door was opened for the group, and soon Jospeh gestured for him to walk in. The sound of a piano filled the castle. It was beautiful yet...sad, as the group entered.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=uyeIIGSJTZc
"She's playing that song again." Said one of the guards as he let out a breath. "Ya. She hasn't played it this much since we got here." Joseph replied to the guard.
-
"One heck of a piece..." Royal whispered, looking around the grand room he had entered
-
"Ya. You can hear that piano all the way up from the top floor, where her bedroom is." One of the guards said. Though he spoke out of line, Joseph didn't mind. "Ya. Last time I talked to her about it, she said the F.D was the one who taught her to play. Did you know the F.D was a master on the piano, Roy?" Jospeh asked Roy as they made their way up through the throne room. Which was now much more colourful then before.
