On Cylus' return from his adventure at the wall, he overhears locals talking about being tested. Naturally curious and bored without a fight, he approaches the two Dojoville citizens.
After a brief interaction, he learns that his skills can be "tested" if he returns to the gate from which he entered. If he were to request a tester there, he could be faced against a certain set of trials. Excited for the oppurtunity, he hurries to the base of the steps. Looking up, he launches his grapples at the face of the rock, and begins climbing. Using his momentum, he swings himself across the face of the rock and up to higher ledges. Naturally faster than climbing the steps, Cylus reaches the path in no time. When he approaches the gate, he sees that it hasn't changed since he had first arrived. The gate was open for tourists, but all was quiet and peaceful.
"Hello?" He called.
"I was told to come here if I uh... wanted to be tested. Some sort of trial?" He stood patiently waiting, but got no response. Yet he felt someone watching him. Feeling sure of a presence, he began to speak.
"Well... My name is Cylus and I've been here in Dojoville for a while now. I think its about time I did something with my time and I heard this is the way to do it. So.... Where do I begin?"

I don't think you NEED to be tested. *A figure walks up behind the man, a black hood shrouding his face. He is lightly armored, and has a large metal crossbow on his back*

"You begin with a battle. Between yourself, and a tester. The tester find you worthy." The response came from a man clad in specialized Titan Pilot gear. He sat atop the dojo's wall, looking down at the newcomer.

Cylus turns around to find the source of the noise. A man sitting atop the city wall, wearing what appears to be future technology. Cylus immediately takes interest. "So are [i]you[/i] the one I'm looking for?" he asks

"I could be. I most likely am. What do you seek here?" The man asked not removing his visor from the newcomer

"He shot her in the head. And then he shot me. Simple as that. I cannot tell you how I came back, but I'm here. I came here for the both of us. And if that means I have to go through you, so be it."

"Excellently said..." The man said, dropping to the ground in front of the newcomer with a [i]thump[/i]. He looked up at the newcomer. "Your move." Was all he said

"This ought to be fun" Cylus smirks He put up his hood and helmet, turning on Q to help him in battle. He pulls out his escrima sticks from his back and began to charge them up with energy. Twirling them in his hands, he charged. [quote]*He's heavily armed and equipped for brute force* Q says[/quote] "Argh, you tell me that now?" Cylus mutters. He jumps to fake an airborne attack, but uses his grapples to slide beneath the titan's feet. He drops a flashbangs in front of his opponent and delivers an electric attack to their back with one of his sticks.

Considering that the pilot was in a crouching position, he simply sighed as Cylus slid directly into him, instead of under him. "You're new around here I take it?" He asked calmly, rising up to his feet and boosting backwards several feet. "I'll let you try again."

He decides to take a slower approach, as Q reads him information. [quote]*He seems to be what people here call guardians. As for the jump, his suit used a short burst of thrust to give him the necessary momentum.[/quote] "Good job Q, find me more." Cylus says as he approaches the guardian. He twirls the sticks and swings to strike the chest.

"Q? Who's that?" The man asked, reaching his right hand outwards and a grapple device shot out, pulling him to the side as Cylus swung wide

He quickly recovers from the Titan's dodge and turns to face his opponent, attaching his escrima sticks together to extend them into a bo staff. He spins it vertically to strike the Titan in the visor, and turns to deliver a blow to the side.

The man ducked down beneath the bo staff, just bearly dodging it as he swept his legs towards the newcomer

Cylus slammed the staff down and blocked the sweep, but he still stumbled. He jumped back a couple feet to collect himself.

The man rose up to his feet and drew a revolver, firing off two rounds

Cylus quickly dodges one but catches the other in the arm. In turn, he throws a throwing knife and draws his dual handguns, emptying both magazines.

The man cloaked, followed by a grunt and the sound of grappling. Then, there was silence and the man was no where to be seen

"Ah I see how it is" Cylus says. Q... [quote]Already on it. Heartbeat sensor online.*[/quote] Cylus reloads his weapons and extracts the bullet from his sleeve. [quote]Located*[/quote] A holographic figure appears in Cylus' helmet. He quickly throws a smoke gernade in its direction, and uses his grapples to swing to it. Bursting through the smoke, his knee makes contact.

It smashed directly into the man's chest, who audibly laughed as he struck a knife into Cylus' hip, stumbling back from the blow

Cylus rips the knife out of his hip, grunting. He shot some of his grapple launchers microbes into the wound, significantly slowing the bleeding. [quote]*Try not to go in so close next time* Q says sarcastically[/quote] Cylus turns to his opponent and glares. He can feel his bloodlust coming over him, and he fights yo hold it back. He pops out his arm blades and charges. He first shoots one grapple around the titans leg, and then another on a nearby tree branch. He swings above the titan, dropping a grenade at his feet. As it detonated, he pulled the grapple on the titan's and swung him at the base of the tree.

The grenade went off, but with the sudden grapple, it didn't cause much damage besides blowing some ground into the air. The man flew towards the tree, only for him to disappear, entering phase run mode. Several seconds later, he reappeared right In front of Cylus and landed a hard punch to the newcomer's jaw, followed by a swift kick to Cylus' knee. It brought Cylus down, and soon after the man had a knife to Cylus' throat, breathing heavily. "You fight well." The man said, backing up a few feet and sheathing the blade. "You have passed the test"
