It's cute on how you have avoided valid response with childish statements through this entire post that is nothing but your "opinion" just thought id throw that out there knowing you done the same thing on other threads. Voting with your wallet does change things. Nothing in this would is set in stone when it comes to creating games, because if it was... Companies wouldn't need license agreements This means anything can change in a game when it comes to creating content at any given time within a certain time frame prior to release. Gee! This company wouldn't ever think about doing that would they? That would be unthinkable and giving Activision too much credit... Destiny before it was released in 2014 is a prime example of that knowing a year before the game was released Bungie chopped up this entire game and sold it in pieces. Creating expansions and treating them like they were full games that The taken wallet was stretched out for an entire year. Now they are doing that with whatever you want to call this half backed expansion. If this company can scrape the original writers story just before the game was released. I can only imagine what 800+ employees can do knowing it was only 500 or less at that time. Your little theory that not pre-ording wont help improve future installments is false and your attempt to say you are "right" just shows how wrong you actually are. It's your choice throwing money at the screen because you will except less. But gamer's that are Adults that want to see an actual complete game and story are not going to throw money at the screen just to see another D1. And this nonsense about gamer's having money. I don't care if a game is $100 or more If it actually has the content worth the amount then ill buy it. I'm not paying to re-buy a game I already paid for like the BS Bungie tried to pull with The taken wallet. Only offering the $80 to re-buy the entire game I already paid for just to buy The taken wallet. It took Bungie's fanbase getting pissed off because Bungie didn't offer a low price to just pre-order The taken wallet for almost 3 months that they had to come out with a statement saying, we don't have a price just to buy The taken wallet but will look into it. Yeah! Voting with our wallet never works does it???

Well first of all, fix your grammar. Secondly, it wasn't up to Bungie to slaughter the game into bits, it was partly Activision's decision. Companies usually would like to profit wherever they can. Especially a gold mine like the Destiny franchise. The company would do as much to earn more. Thirdly, pre-ordering doesn't support Bungie directly. It's a loan to secure your copy on launch, which doesn't determine the final game product. I know it, you know it, Bungie knows it and Activision knows it. This game will break sale records. Theoretically. If it didn't? They wouldn't waste such long time on development, wasting resources and finance. But taking this to heart and making it sound like a mid-life crisis situation, grow up.
Oh btw, 67% of your response doesn't make sense.
• Hahaha, you have ZERO proof of anything breaking records. Most big titles haven't been selling well and Destiny 2 could definitely fall into that if it's more of the same. Also, Bungie and Activision splitting up the game was a JOINT decision. Bungie has creative control over their IP per the contract so saying it was all Activision is false.

  • I'll never understand how anyone can think it was just Activision. It takes 2 to tangle... you don't sign a contract with devil then try to turn around and try to act innocent.

  • It's honestly likely people too young to understand business or bungie fanboys who refuse to acknowledge that bungie has done some scummy things recently.

  • I understand making a profit, but this company is pushing it further and further to see how much they can get away with until gamer's say enough is enough. I can care less about the the advetisements because I rather see them use them resources and put it into making a game with content that isn't removed like timed event's. JMO, using the charity in-game as the end reword was unnecessary. Games should not be used in this fashion knowing they have other options and have used other options. This a lone caused a lot of gamer's that were interested in running this to not want to finish the book. Not because what it was used for, but knowing games are suppose to be fun and not looked at as having to give a donation and that killed the purpose of what Bungie put the book out to be. This is nonsense even though it's for a good caused.

  • I played for an hour since Oct. I'm hopeful that they turn the game around with 2 but given how the game has turned into a pointless grind for cosmetic items, I'm skeptical.

About your second part, yes I know and?

  • Doubt it. Activision would be yapping about their high preorder numbers of their were. They were always yapping about their nonsense numbers leading up to and after release, which stopped as their numbers went down.

But you should also realise it's pretty early for preorders, the gameplay reveal will see a fluctuation in the sale numbers, while the beta will secure it.
