Errm every movie you go to see at the cinema you pay for before you have seen it or experienced it. So it is with all business - "caveat emptor" [let the buyer beware] is a fundamental principle of all business transactions. It means the buyer has the freedom of choice to buy an item or not, but the responsibility to check it's what he wants is his only. The seller has no responsibility to make sure you know what you are buying, that's down to you. It has always been this way. And you do realise the entire reason for the existence of a company is to maximise profit for the shareholders? Again this is fundamental. How much profit do the shareholders want it to make? As much as it can. And no one forces anyone to buy micro-transactions, it's your choice.
