"..." The android only remained silent, as each piece of information, each word that Ghiaccio said, was uploaded into her data, thus sealing it away into her mind. The Operator unit would keep said information within her own being until she found a way to upload it upon a piece of technology, perhaps a hard drive or a computer - something that she could keep close to her at all times. 17O also knew that she'd have to tamper with the memories of her Pod so that YoRHa couldn't look into it for information about what had happened.. As for 17O? This was merely the beginning of her ultimate goal: understand humanity at its core. A being - no, a machine - had inspired her to do this back upon the desolated Earth. She had been going through files when she had encountered an "Adam", a sentient machine that wished to understand the humans, and to grasp the concept of humanity by finding these beings, with or without the android's assistance. Naturally, 17O was drawn in. And here we are now. ------------------------- "...I believe that I understand your reasoning. As unjust and as cruel as it may seem, perhaps... Perhaps Tatakai isn't the finest example of "humanity"? I've...I've been told that humans are a peaceful creature - the victims, at least in the tale told by YoRHa. Now, it's...more complicated than that. Do not mind me being instigating, but what do you go by, if anything?"

  • "There is no...justice. Never was. Tatakai is indeed possibly the worst example one could use. Though, it's not all bad. A man I met...Grant, even after he had shot me and crippled me for what could have been for life, fixed me. Of course by then I had acquired my means to...become this. I am Ghiaccio, a vampire as you may call it. No, not a vampire, something more. I cannot...die. At least, nobody has destroyed my body well enough to do it. No religious items or garlic are useful against me. Only sunlight. Even then I merely turn into sto- aha! I got it. I think you could call me a Pillar Man. Though, they are all technically dead at this point." Ghiaccio had solved the mystery of what to call himself. This had been going on a while, ever since he took Hovark's blood.

"A Pillar Man... Ancient beings that existed long before humanity upon a form of Earth, correct? That's all that my files can bring up about them... In that case, thank you for introducing yourself. I am Unit 17O, AKA "Olive" - an Operator sent by a faction known as YoRHa to study and survey Tatakai, in hopes of finding something that we could use to extinguish a robotic menace that plagues our version of Earth. At any rate, I am breaking the code of my mission by seeking out something that it is not concerned with, but...I do not see an issue with it. Ghiaccio, or...Ghio, may I call you? Can you tell me of the Dojo? It inhabitants, what they are like? I don't want to tear information from you, but...in order to fully understand this cesspool, I must rely on a source that, surely...has been here for a while." Olive liked Ghio, in some sense. He was...different. He was calm, composed, and...oddly enough, very relaxed in her presence. He reminded her of 13B - "Bayonet", who was off doing recon.

  • "I cannot provide an accurate answer. In a summary, inhabitants in the dojo fight for sport. Though some wish not, and merely stay here for protection. A decent choice. Though sadly that is somewhat squandered by individuals such as myself. I can provide a legitimate reason, though there are others...like Irina. She is part of the reason why this...Dojoville is like this. Though in the end, I do owe somewhat of a debt to her. For she is how I was able to become this." He had explained as best as he could. Then he had demonstrated a bit of his abilities. Ghiaccio started to contort his body, bones snapping and breaking. It was a cringe inducing sight as he now dislocated his upper half to rest on his left hip. "I can control and manipulate my body down to a cellular level. My prowess is unmatched, since the Pillar Men are dead." Ghio then twisted his body in his cringe inducing way once more, placing his body back in the proper place. Whatever broken bones or crushed organs he had were healed at a shocking rate. "Those who live here are rather varied, ranging from mere humans to bizarre alien species...even robots." The song had stopped playing, in which Ghiaccio stood still for a moment before walking over to the CD player corpse and choosing through his disks and choosing a more modern song. Killer Queen, by Queen. Ghiaccio then proceeded to move back to his original spot. "All in all, perhaps one of the many robots might assist you here. Just watch out for the surprise...fight."

"Olive" studied the Pillar Man's movements with such an interest, that it was almost as if she was enticed with what he had been doing to his body - twisting and shaping in such a grotesque yet peaceful manner, and yet capable of healing his self-given wounds in a matter of seconds...it had truly amazed her, to some degree. As more and more knowledge began to enter the mind of Olive, she began to look into the information given to her: Grant was once an NCR Ranger, local hero...and yet, recruited this "Irina" individual - a member of the Dojo who had slaughtered and killed members and civilians in the past, only to do good? It confused and yet, intrigued Olive. And then, there was the mention of robots... "...What can you tell me about these..robots?"

  • "There are quite a few roaming around. The most likely one you'll run into is one they called Tesuto. He is rather....into his Samurai thing. Though I'm afraid I have not seen it recently. There was a cyborg by the name of JT, he too disappeared. Perhaps you might find what you are seeking for in the actual Dojo? I can lead the way, it is the least I can do." The Pillar Man offered, perhaps he was genuinely decent to talk to. Seeing how most just tried to ram him with a pitchfork or something pathetic like that.

And immediately, Olive began to search the archives of the world, and information that she could access, for the two names that Ghiaccio had given her. On one hand, the robot Tesuto had been within the Dojo for years - the samurai-based being tested newcomers, and saw if they were worthy or not. Recently, it seemed as if he wasn't testing as much. As for JT, she found some more disturbing things. He was practically a criminal - countless counts of murder, illegal mercenary work and that sort of shit, alongside a "L.I.M.B Clinic" that he owned. Olive would have to check it out, assuming that it was even active. It was probably a safe house for the jackass - least, that's what she thought. "I'd appreciate that, actually.." For a moment, a comfortable smile crossed Olive's face. "Lead the way."
