I'm a full time chef with 3 young(ish) kids. My play time can be limited.
I'm not buying the game until I know what I'm paying for.
No dedicated pvp servers. No sale.
No stopping carries in competitive pvp. No sale.
No story. No sale.
I've got £200 waiting to buy the deluxe edition as soon as I'm satisfied the above criteria are met.

Stopping or at least reducing (Paid) carries should be relatively simple. Once a character has gone flawless either;
A) lockout that character from trials (not desirable or what I want)
B) reduce the pool of players you will match against to others who have already gone flawless. Then add another pool for people with 2x flawless etc. Make it account wide so you only play others of the same skill level. If someone in your FT has 4x flawless runs that week, the whole fireteam is places in the 4x flawless matchmaking pool.
However, It's really not my job to sort out how its done, it's simply a factor in whether I buy the game or not. I'm not saying they should cater to my demands. That's absurd. I'm simply and clearly setting out the parameters i personally would like to see satisfied in order for me to purchase D2.

How can you stop carries in competitive PvP? I'm honestly curious as to how you think they can stop something they have almost no control over.

Whining about carries I don't understand at all. It's simple logic. If you have a solid team, beating a 2 man team carrying a nobody should be easy. It happens all the time. Get better and stop whining.

Well, might as well look for another game because you are not going to get any of what you ask for. Most companies that have a brain learn from there mistakes and actually improve their game. Bungie hasn't learned jack and it's going on 3 years. That pretty freaking sad...

See, this makes sense. Op, not so much. I make my own money too (and have to say kudos for cutting me out of the demographic, as a 21 year old I make more then several people in their 30s and 40s...), and I see no sense on giving my money to a company that hasn't finished or even explained their product. There's so much underlying mystery to the game as of right now. Am I interested? Hell yeah! Am I going to pay full price for a game that there is little information about? No. From the wise words of Cartman "preordering is just promising to pay for a game that some a**holes in California haven't even finished... you know what you get for preordering? A **** in your mouth". I'm not going to throw my hard earned money blindly at a screen. Give me details and we'll see.

Just do the math on minimum wage workers in that age group. If you make $0.25 more than that, then you, young man, will be making more than that number, which I would bet would be in the hundreds of thousands or millions. It's nothing to brag about either. It's nothing to even think about. Just focus on becoming a responsible adult and when free, play some destiny!

I realize that beating minimum wage isn't really much of a challenge, or even accomplishment (though 11.50 an hour is much better than Illinois' 8.25 + .25, but I've still got a long ways to go). I was just calling out the opposition, who's making silly claims with lack of evidence. Even to the assuming that the parents buy everything - I've bought the grand majority of my gaming gear and games out of my own pocket, even growing up. Mow lawns and the like, 16 get a job... I am hopeful D2 turns into something phenomenal... but the game can easily get released without everyone's preorder, and I'm not handing my money over just yet. Destiny left a lot to be desired compared to the original promise, but still brought some enjoyable (and painful - screw you vanilla drop rate) times.

Easy fix for trials, 1 run per character. Either get to lighthouse once or 3 attempts. Then locked out.

Carries aren't going to stop if something like ToO exists, sorry to say. Bungie doesn't enforce their own terms of service so take it up with them.

Same lol, most people who do recovs and run stacked are too mediocre to carry. And I really don't get how you can just trust some guy with your account.

I beat an account recovery player in trials. He was actually garbage though. But I hope ToO is either kept out of D2, or reimplemented in a different way.
