Yes they have lied, period. Spin it how you want but they literally lied about SBMM, period. They also said eververse would fund the live team for content throughout the year and we got almost nothing. They also said they would respect players time and not make the grind obsolete and then did just that.
Backtracking is fine if you explain why but they don't and until they do, it's fair to say they lied.

Everyone thinks it's simple to remake code to being in changes to the game. The live events, the Age of Triumph...all of it must cost quite a bit. Keep in mind that they have salaries to pay constantly, people who monitor the game from within, the PvP testers that get used more than anyone else in bungie because of all the PvP whiners. The whole operation costs loads. It's not nearly as simple as opening a server and boom!!! Everyone goes home for the next 3 years. As for the grind being obsolete, nope, not swallowing that one. I got to use all the gear I spent ages trying to get. So it wasn't wasted time.

Where did I imply I was trying to compel people not to pre-order? I couldn't give a flying crap what people want to do with their money. Throw it down a sewer for all I care. What I do care about is people ignoring some of the BS business practices.
