You pay for what bungie gives you. Every company in the world makes their product sound like the best thing since sliced bread. Why should bungie act any different?
How much time do you spend on a single title? A couple of months to complete? We've played destiny for 3 years. If that is not worth whatever you've paid, then you come across as entitled and spoilt. Wanting the world for a pittance.
I've sunk countless hours into a game I've thoroughly enjoyed. I've more than had my money worth, I still play so I'm still getting more for my money.
Bungie have not lied once. They may have said things but have had to backtrack because it wasn't feasible to deliver what they said but at no point have I felt hard done by.
People need to stop expecting an insane amount of game for their money. How much would you have paid so far for world of Warcraft if you had started subscription when destiny came out? Or ESO if their subscription fees had gone ahead? Destiny has been a bargain!!
In every game out there, you pay for DLC. It's how it works. Get over it.

Don't expect any more game at all. I'd pay $200 right now if they'd just undo all the confused tinkering over the past few years. Give me less "game." I'm saying that they should focus on maintaining a quality experience rather than constantly tinkering with things they don't even understand despite their hefty paychecks.

Shit I'd pay $200 if they'd just have special ammo stop being racist. That itself makes things completely broken and I can prove that in a simple image or a few paragraphs.

What about skyrim? You think people haven't paid for skyrim's DLC? It wasn't free back when it was on the 360. Legendary edition ( came with all 3), cost more than regular. So people who bought it on 360 have effectively paid for it on the One for everyone

I was talking more along the lines of hours of playability for the money spent. I played skyrim for years. The content was more robust. I do understand destiny is s completely different kind of game so legacy consoles probably was holding the game back. However, 8 hours not including running raid and you were done with destiny. Like halo I loved the shooter, so I gladly replayed missions, strikes, and crucible. Unlike Halo we had better gear to try for, but it was still replaying content. After 30 hours I was bored with vanilla Destiny. Took much longer to burn out on standard skyrim. Both 60. Destiny was over priced, especially the dlc.

The problem so many people faced is that they never took destiny out of their consoles. They played non-stop and blitzed through content as fast as they could in an attempt to "be the best". Skyrim, having had no multiplayer option, didn't have that incentive. I sank an insane amount of hours into skyrim...played and replayed, completed it normally and then went back through and used the restoration loop glitch to have fun. Destiny has kept me entertained for every second I've played it. And that's a few thousand hours. It may have cost a lot on DLC, but with the exception of house of wolves, it's all been worth it.

The game has no story, repetitive and so many other issue. U want to tell me that destiny has a story, and what about the grimoire.

Yes they have lied, period. Spin it how you want but they literally lied about SBMM, period. They also said eververse would fund the live team for content throughout the year and we got almost nothing. They also said they would respect players time and not make the grind obsolete and then did just that. Backtracking is fine if you explain why but they don't and until they do, it's fair to say they lied.

Everyone thinks it's simple to remake code to being in changes to the game. The live events, the Age of Triumph...all of it must cost quite a bit. Keep in mind that they have salaries to pay constantly, people who monitor the game from within, the PvP testers that get used more than anyone else in bungie because of all the PvP whiners. The whole operation costs loads. It's not nearly as simple as opening a server and boom!!! Everyone goes home for the next 3 years. As for the grind being obsolete, nope, not swallowing that one. I got to use all the gear I spent ages trying to get. So it wasn't wasted time.

Where did I imply I was trying to compel people not to pre-order? I couldn't give a flying crap what people want to do with their money. Throw it down a sewer for all I care. What I do care about is people ignoring some of the BS business practices.

Wrong perspective. That's a bitch perspective who is used to being capitalized upon and doesn't mind. I don't expect an insane amount of game, I and all expect a clean game front to back at all times. Never -blam!-ing serve me some BS and say it's on me to fix or my doing. Bungie can know their game or not. They don't at all because their primary study is money. They know how to leech your pocket but not maintain a simple game created years ago. Bungie exists as a lie. Go watch everything since 2014. Including your game play video. It's theft.

I've played other games, spent money on those, but I always come back to destiny, why? Because despite all the whiners, it's a fantastic game that has given thousands of hours of fun. To the people who cry about it being half a game with no content....go play something else, go buy a different game. Shown bungie how you feel. You will not be missed....not by bungie and not by the group of players who love destiny for what it is...a fun hobby. It is not to be taken seriously. I play it between RL activities. It fills a gap...the couple of hours after the wife and kid have gone to bed and I'm still wide awake. Destiny is not life. I haven't been playing since September really. I played back when it was legitimately fun despite its flaws. Which is how I ended up here lately when I feel like playing. It's completely broken for obvious reasons my friend. Sounds like you're mostly talking to yourself tbh. I love this game as much as anyone which is why I'm so disappointed in the people who consciously drove it off a cliff while displaying zero shame but often allowing the blame to shift to the "community." I'll be playing D2 for sure though. That's what we really paid for here. I expect it to be a far better experience if Bungie has learned anything at all from the constant embarrassment they've subjected themselves to with the original. Which still stands as the greatest form of human entertainment ever created. Just not in it's currently unplayable state.

The biggest problem with destiny was the people who moaned about crucible and got all weapons nerfed. Then the people who cried because they couldn't get into a raid team without gally.... I didn't get gally until Feb in Y1...did plenty of raids before that. Bungie have diminished their game somewhat with the tinkering, I'll give you that, but it's still a fantastic game with countless more hours of fun to provide

How exactly can a moaning zombie nerf a weapon in a "triple A" FPS? Hundreds of times. Why isn't bungie paying them if true? Every decision made is on Bungie. Hopefully they learn or hire people who focus on the game rather than the loudest whine they can get within earshot of.

Bungie makes those decisions based on what the players are telling them. Don't be ignorant. If no-one complained about the Vex in Y1, they wouldn't have felt the need to tweak it.

If its a lie and they stole your money heres one simple way to fix it. Stop preaching your opinion if you dont like the game. Delete this app and stop playing destiny. Simple as that. I enjoy the game and got my moneys worth. 40 dollars once a year isnt much.

You're looking at it all wrong, I love the game!, but that doesn't mean the way it was delivered wasn't crooked. They milked the community through the hope and expectations left over from the Halo series. It really was false advertising and little bang for the buck.
